The unpredictable, dark and dreamy soundscapes that Morfine produces are, above all else, an expression of her innermost thoughts. Her songwriting blurs the boundaries between electronic and pop music, making use of her own unique vocals, alongside melodies dripping with melancholy and steeped in avant garde FX. “Blinding Nights” is contradiction in terms, a way of saying that sometimes it’s darkest before the dawn. On her debut album Morfine’s production and lyrics illustrate this paradox, based on moments from her own life.

Blinding Nights est le premier album de la compositrice, auteure, claviériste et chanteuse Morfine (Estelle Morfin à la ville).
Blinding Nights porte en lui une contradiction : peut-être est-ce dans l’obscurité la plus profonde que l’on perçoit la plus vive lumière. Cet album illustre ce paradoxe, tout en se basant sur les événements qui ont marqué Morfine ces dernières années.
