Kami-O is a Glasgow based producer & DJ who specialises in dubstep and grime. He put out his first self released project, the 'Hara EP' in 2020, which got him noticed by the renowned label FatKidOnFire, who signed him for an EP and mix later that same year.

Following this he released his debut album 'Biren' in 2021, a project dedicated to his late grandfather and inspired by his Indian heritage. It released to high acclaim, with features in Complex, TRENCH, Electronic Sound and Polymer Zine, where it achieved a 9/10 rating and the title of album of the month.

After this, he dropped a couple of vinyl exclusive, 2 track EPs with known underground labels in the scene, LDH Records and Soil & Sound, plus also recorded mixes for platforms including Rinse FM, Subtle Radio, Rinse France and SeekSickSound.

Now he's back with his 2nd album 'Veiled'. A release inspired by his struggles with his mental health and social isolation, which were only heightened during the lockdown when work on the album began. Featuring vocal collaborations from Rider Shafique, Amos and Jae Mann, this is Kami-O's most diverse and expansive release to date, spanning 10 tracks of consistently surprising, forward thinking music. 'Veiled' will be released on November 11th digitally on all platforms and on limited edition cassette through bandcamp.

Jah-Tek presents the album title track 'Veiled', a beautiful sonic exploration, diving into the depths of eastern instrumentation and harmony, accompanied by soothing low-end warmth.

Glasgow-based dubstep and grime producer/ DJ (and FKOF fam) @kami-o's had a pretty solid 18mo with material. We had our release with him, he dropped his debut self-released album (go check 'Biren' if you've not yet) and now we're back with the next long-player project.

“IF U WANT IT” is our first micro-album project on clipp.art, and comes via 24 year old female Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, house and techno DJ "박혜진 park hye jin”.

Korean born, 박혜진 park hye jin is a resident DJ at Pistil Dance Club, with regular broadcast performances on Seoul’s independent underground radio “SCR”. Her style blends elements of dream-state house, raw hip-hop & psychedelic darkwave and mixes her own English and Korean vocals over dreamy synths & thick beats for a forward-thinking dancefloor experience.

Title track IF U WANT IT, has park hye jin singing a duet with herself in Korean over a bangin 4/4 beat, followed rapidly by ABC which finds park croon in English over a smoky piano line before tumbling effortlessly into a motorik fashioned middle breakdown. From there we shift gears, sliding into the deep thunder of Korean vocaled I DON’T CARE, the abyss of CLOSE EYES, before sailing endlessly into the moonlight on EP closer, CALL ME.

We are completely thrilled to present you this exciting underground talent coming out of Seoul.

The Houseum Records family is proud to announce that it continues to grow with this new Various Artists EP. To fly to new horizons, Astro, Sunfleur, Harisson BDP and Aemone gathered a collection of 4 tracks with deep and dubby sounds.

Ready for a power takeoff with Astro? From the beginning, this track sends us to another planet with the bassline. And the hypnotic beats certainly make a spacey banger! Sunfleur embarks you in the ship Vostok 1, for a cosmic ballad mixed with sweet and nostalgic lines of synths. This very smooth groove and these robotic vocals make us float.

On the B side, Harrison BDP gives us a darker track. The gravity leads us to a real fusion of reverberating drum lines and entrancing pads, It feels like entering a black hole. Finally the trip ends on a smooth landing with Clouds produced by the Belgian Aemone, we want to land on the clouds with this fluffy rhythm and these captivating vocals.
