I've been incredibly fortunate to enjoy a decent swag of bookings at the Sydney institution that is S.A.S.H. @sashsundays over the last six or so years.  In doing so, I've also managed to record a number of them, and here they are!

These are reasonably varied in style: some early afternoon/evening warm-up efforts; some recorded in the disco-friendly 'Maze' at Home; others dish up more of your dancefloor-friendly fodder; another I recorded in the comfort of my own studio during the COVID-era.

There is plenty of content within.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed delivering it!

Live at S.A.S.H.

'Attic' is the brainchild of Sydney jocks, Brendan Clay and Andrew Fazzolari; devised as a medium to promote their love for low, slow grooves, thick basslines and loose percussion.

Attic is tailored to those searching for an avenue for deep, soulful, disco-infused and melodically-centric house music.

Fundamentally, its focus is the promotion of quality, hand-picked local talent; while regularly welcoming selectors from around the globe, mirroring its ethos and vision.

To date, Attic has toured/hosted:

The first couple of years of Attic action have been positively memorable; the boys' enthusiasm and insatiable appetite for quality house music continue in full swing...

It's been a long minute since we've published a mix—that isn't to say that we have spent the last year in hibernation, however.

Indeed, we spent most of 2020 plying our trade at a toasty, over-the-bridge establishment called 'The Foxtrot', playing warming selections for a thirsty, seated crowd.

When playing gigs at the ol' Fox, and of a similar dynamic in recent time, we've been promoting more slow-mo, lo-fi and hip-hop-oriented sounds—often steering clear of a repetitive 4x4 kick drum—regularly flipping over to a cool, relatively unknown B-side and exercising the depths of our collections in the process.

This is one example that we really quite enjoyed, recorded live, opening the night at The Foxtrot, and we thought it best to share here.

Within, you'll hear originals, remixes and releases from the likes of Eend (Sondrio), E. Live, Sable Blanc, Outkast, Waxtefacts, Ed Wizard & Disco Double Dee, Drake, Editorial Records and Evren Furtuna to name a few!

Live at The Foxtrot (April 2021)

We made a big return to Harpoon Harry last Thursday night, waving our Attic flag once more for its 'Altar Danceteria' series—a part of the Sydney Solstice winter celebration.

It's probably without saying, but the ol' Harpoon holds a very special place in our hearts as we've created some pretty special memories over the years—during which we've welcomed the likes of Cody Currie, Bellaire and Ethyène to our fine shores!—as is evident by an abundance of offerings populating my Soundcloud account.

School night or not, we packed the bags and boxes for an evening of tunes, and this particular mix is the opening hour(ish) of the night played by yours truly.  I kicked things off low and deep—just as we like to!—steering clear of the typical 4x4 selections often heard a little later!  This is very much a "warm-up", and I hope it does the job for you, too.

The slo-mo flavours included are illustrative of a style I've really tried to evolve and develop over the last year or so, and something that has become a personal passion.  The tracks are often very short, lack a "DJ friendly" comfort taken for granted with a lot of house music, but do offer some "interesting" opportunities for on-the-fly transitions and mixing—it's quite raw and it's honest.  Nevertheless, it definitely keeps things interesting... and me on my toes!

Within, you'll hear originals and remixes from the likes of Saine @saine, Queen (yep!), Retromigration @retromigration, Inkswell, Boryn @boryn, E-Live @elivebeats and DJ Steef, to name just a handful.

So, we're not totally out of the woods on the pandemic front—not even close, it would seem.

Despite believing we had probably delivered the final chapter of our 'Lockdown Sessions' series back in December; 2021 has since had a bit to say about that!  With no real end in sight, we decided to blow the dust off this format and serve up the fifth entry.

Normally, we'd collectively circle a date and eagerly await our next opportunity to catch up—beers, banter, laughs, and of course, the tunes.

During this current—now prolonged!—period, said opportunities haven't afforded themselves and we've been forced to get a little creative with regard to a platform for sharing and consuming music together, flexing our creative muscles in the process.

Re-enter 'The Lockdown Sessions'. DJs In The Distance.  Back in action for the fifth edition.  A refresh.  We've once again mixed up the order to keep things interesting.

If you're unfamiliar, it's a DJ take on "pass the parcel"... in the best way possible.  Play four tracks and pass it on.  Four more, and on she goes.  Without any specific plan nor objective in mind; just four of your favourites—newer, older, a guilty pleasure, a cherished favourite, or something experimental.  Whatever you please—it's your stanza.

This is the result: a (hopefully) cohesive 80-odd minutes of music from four mates.  Four like-minded individuals.  Compiled and mixed indulgently within our respective abodes.

DJs In The Distance 005: The Lockdown Sessions (September 2021)

It's that age-old, well-worn cliché: "music is the essence that brings us together".

Well, cliché or not, it couldn't be more accurate in considering this offering.

The last little period has not been without challenge: the dreaded lockdown—the second coming, as it were.  We have been apart, away from the DJ booth, away from the dance floor, prevented from doing the thing we love: sharing our passion for the music for which we dig deep.  Very deep.

In the spirit of breaking through these challenges, we've grouped together and constructed the second part of this little project: a concoction of sound, delivered by a selection of five like-minded individuals, separated by circumstance.

What we have here is, in essence, a DJ mix—a few clicks over an hour in length.  Five DJs, three tracks a pop—one kicks off; the next joins... then the next... and the next.

Burners, killers, fillers, fresh cuts and perhaps forgotten Gems from the Attic—all delivered in one cohesive package.

It's us—Brendan Clay & Andrew Fazzolari—and we have, once again, placed ourselves in esteemed, incredibly talented company with this effort:

Gary Ward, Mark Cameron and Sim Maree are all highly-accomplished technicians and loyal supporters of our brand, who have graced our DJ booths with their presence at various times since Attic's inception in 2017.  We'd love very much to enjoy those opportunities again soon!  (For now, we have this.)

One Day In The Sun (Summer 2014 Promo)

We're back in action with a brand new mix series to mark the occasion!

This first entry is one we carefully compiled and constructed over a few months, during which we each took turns adding new sections of music we felt were both cohesive for the mix and aligned with our sound.

Within, you'll hear a few closely-held favourites, as well as some newer burners that have been tickling our collective ear, quickly becoming absolute staples and future classics.

We'll also be inviting our nearest, dearest, favourites and family to contribute to the series—stalwarts and fresh faces, alike!—so there's plenty more to come.

(You should also expect to see us popping up a little a more 'round town in the near future, too!)

Attic Mixtape 001 (June 2022) by Brendan Clay & Andrew Fazzolari (Attic DJs)

While it's one of the more dramatic titles I've associated with a new mix, it's not without good reason.  The process of compiling and delivering this mix has worked wonders for my mental health over the last little while.

For the last 20 years, music has served as my primary creative outlet, however; recent opportunities to indulge in the craft or completely immerse myself in a creative project haven't been as abundantly available nor really possible.  (Most new parents or those working in high-pressure professional endeavours might share the same insight.)

So I did a thing.  Indeed, my first thing in a little while...

Put simply, this was me, pinching available pockets of time, throwing on some music and pressing record while doing so.  There was little rhyme nor reason to its execution, rather than embracing an opportunity to process some newer purchases or indulgently enjoying a worn favourite.  (My Ecler Nuo 5 being a notable addition into the latter category.)

I completed this over a number of weekends—on some days, I contributed only half an hour; on others, a little longer—picking up from exactly the point I had finished during the previous window.

It's raw, honest, largely unedited—though, I obviously had to join each session recording—and it's all me, doing something I genuinely enjoy and have done for some time.

I hope this translates into a reasonable journey for you, the listener—I'll continue to enjoy it nonetheless.

Mental Health Mix (July 2022)

We played our first club set under our Attic @atticsydney guise for a little over two years!  (Hey, a pandemic might just do that.)

For the occasion, we partnered with the fine folk at No Place Like House @noplacelikehouseaus, welcoming seasoned French house stalwart, Art of Tones @llorca, as part of his very first Australian tour.  A great booking and an even better bloke!

(And, geez, we'd missed the Civic Underground—our home away from home since Attic's inception.)

We opened the evening and were gifted a deliciously lengthy two-and-a-half set to get things underway.  We kicked off with our signature warm-up fodder and built things up on the housey tip as the room began filling up and feet started moving en masse!

Live at No Place Like House ft. Art Of Tones (22nd July, 2022)

For this second instalment of our Attic Mixtape series, we asked trusty selector and good friend, Sim Maree to take the reins... and what a tasty contribution this is!

We've been strong advocates of Sim since her debut set from No Place Like House last year.  (It was a well-crafted yet restrained warm-up, so, naturally, it was very close to our hearts!)  Not long after, Sim kindly accepted an invitation to join us for a mid-week shindig at Harpoon Harry as part of its winter solstice series, and our super-fan status was sealed thereafter.

Despite admitting to being a relative newcomer to the DJ game, Sim exhibits a maturity in her selections and the delivery of which that exceeds some of her more seasoned peers.  She has a tendency to present material from familiar artists and labels and deliver it in a unique context that feels fresh and uncharted—and you can bet that the offering she has provided us here is a true testament to that.

In short, she gets it.  In every sense.  Naturally, we couldn't be happier to bring her in for this series.  In truth, it was an easy decision for us.

Live at Sequential Mix

The Fazz and I returned to one of our favourite haunts—and a hidden local pleasure!—Stanley's on Stanley for an all-afternoon/all-night pre-Christmas affair.

The entire venue was booked for an EOY shindig by the fine folk at Desk Space—a nearby co-working hub—who, I don't mind mentioning, had personally requested our services, having heard one of our @atticsydney mixes playing during a venue inspection.  (Humble brag, sure, but hey, gotta take them where you can!)

The seven-hour sesh flew by in the blink of an eye, and we had a blast playing for the wonderfully receptive crowd who stuck with us right 'till close.

Live at Stanley's (9th December, 2022)

I'm throwing this one up from earlier in the year—a mix I compiled and delivered for 'The D&M', a weekly Friday morning radio show on (the now, sadly departed) Orbital Radio.

So, as much as I set out to put together and promised a proper sub-100 BPM slow jam mix for Darcy, this one ended up very differently!

I, admittedly, hadn't played too many sweaty, peak-time dance floor sets during 2022, yet, I continue to buy music to suit such an affair, and this mix was the perfect opportunity to showcase a handful of them!

The mix kicks off with some deep grooves and builds up to some higher-energy burners and features some of my favourite artists and labels at the moment, including Retromigration, Jesse Bru, Cassettes For Kids, Clive From Accounts and Intr0beatz.

Promo Mix for The D&M on Orbital Radio (2023)

The big dog, Andrew Fazzolari @andrewfazzolari, blew out an undisclosed number of candles in March and decided to celebrate the occasion with a good ol' fashioned Saturday shindig at Stanley's.  The Fazz curated a hand-picked line-up of selectors for the special occasion and generously gifted me the first two hours of the balmy Autumn evening!

I entered the venue at the tail-end of, shall we say, a "colourful" daytime takeover that was many hours—and countless beverages—deep, and was greeted by an intriguing soundtrack of popular radio-played bangers from the start of the century; 'Ms. Jackson' and 'Teenage Dirtbag', notably.

At its conclusion, we were afforded a few sought-after moments of serenity while the Technics were rolled out and added to the booth.  I was afforded the opportunity to allow the dust—and, indeed, serotonin!—to settle, and re-set things with some lower, slower groovers, just as intended.

I prepared a bespoke "crate" of selections filled with some of the birthday boy's personal favourites and guilty pleasures, along with others I thought he might enjoy.  I believe I hit the brief and was pretty pleased with the result.  Most importantly, The Fazz seemed to enjoy himself right through 'till the call for last drinks.

Live at Stanley's (25th March, 2023)

Analogue Discogue is an esteemed hi-fi, vinyl-only event hosted by house and disco aficionado, Norm De Plume.

We were invited to join the line-up for its July event: a sun-kissed Sunday afternoon affair hosted at the exquisite, Japanese-inspired Rekōdo Restaurant & Vinyl Bar at Sydney's Barangaroo.

Rekōdo's crystal-clear Klipsch sound system sounded expectedly immaculate right throughout the afternoon's proceedings: the clarity and warmth of the system provided an ambient yet immersive experience for diners and listeners, alike.  It was an absolute pleasure.

The Fazz @andrewfazzolari and I came prepared, armed and loaded with a couple of boxes of carefully-selected favourites—a concoction of newer burners and some favourites from yesteryear—and did our very best to fly the Attic flag proudly.

Following recent sombre developments that our beloved Stanley Street Block Parties are no longer—cheers for that, local council!—we thought it appropriate to pay homage to the fantastic times enjoyed by all, by making available our recorded mix from last month.

(We failed to realise it at the time, but it may be the very last Block Party gracing the sacred bitumen known at Stanley Street... at least, for the foreseeable future.)

Live at Stanley's Block Party (October 2023)

Behold!  My set from S*A*S*H – from Sunday, 17 August – is now up and available...

Naturally, I was absolutely stoked to have been asked to play at arguably Sydney's biggest weekly event, which boasted a star-studded local line-up and included the bookings of Alex Flatner, Sean Patrick and Nox.

What's more, the S*A*S*H boys were been kind enough to give me a very generous three-hour set, opening the second room from 6 PM.

This was a varied set, featuring some deep numbers up front, with a rather "sunset" housey stanza in the middle, and closing off with some bigger grooves – all around 116-117 BPM, just the way I like it!

I had a wonderful time playing this set, and could have comfortably stretched on another three hours!

Big shouts to the S*A*S*H boys, Cris, Matt and Kerry for having me on.

Live at S.A.S.H. (17th August, 2014)

Attic returned for a summer soirée at the iconic Café del Mar Sydney earlier this month—the balmy weekend was embraced by the sun-drenched ambience of Cockle Bay.

As I like to do, I kicked off the afternoon's proceedings, offering a selection of Balearic-inspired flavours to set the mood and tone, in preparation for the more house-centric flavours to follow.  (And they certainly did.)

I really enjoyed packing and preparing this particular box—which required many a dig for hidden treasures from yesteryear!—and it came out about as well as I hoped it might!

I hope it translates as such for you, potentially offering a tasty aural side dish for your Christmas/holiday preparations and celebrations!

Here is a new promo mix from me, replicating my recent set at Chinese Laundry, on Saturday, 1 November – supporting Subb-an (UK).

The night followed immediately after the sold-out, highly-anticipated Garden Party featuring Sasha along with a fine selection of quality local support acts.

Naturally, following an event of that nature, I tried to keep the tunes going in rhythmic style – and was blessed to have such a responsive up-for-it crowd dancing along.

The opening set of any given night can present a tricky scenario and is absolutely critical, but you nailed it — even from the first sample, "No, I'm just some kind of sick idiot who's seen too many young men die..."  Just superb!

To Hans and Daniel @justsayfouk: Well, what can we say?!  Everyone who witnessed the almost three-hour journey can attest that they were present for something very, very special, indeed.

As well as being talented producers, it's refreshing to know that you're seasoned and highly-accomplished technicians behind the 1's and 2's.  You took our guests on a melodic journey and they remained with you for the long haul and danced the night away.

A special thanks also to Doris​, Maria​ and Mike for your contributions and assistance throughout the night.  This is very much a family affair, and we couldn't have done it without you.  A special mention to Andreas​, too!

We'll also have some photos, video and music from the night coming very shortly, too, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

So, with that, here is my recorded set from the evening.  I played after Rabbit Taxi and right before Fouk.  The crowd response was exceptional, and seeing it all build up in anticipation four our headline act was highly satisfying!

Live at Attic presents Fouk (20th January, 2017)

A massive thank you to the S.A.S.H crew for placing their trust in our Attic brand and inviting us to host The Maze at their incredible — and amazingly consistent — event.  We had an absolute blast!

Cris, Kerry, Matt, Jack and the crew: you really know how to make your artists and DJs feel valued and welcome.  It's an absolute credit to you all.

Attic hosts The Maze at S.A.S.H. (12th February, 2017) - Part One

Here is my set from Apollo Arcade at Secret Garden Bar in Enmore, from a few weeks back.  This was an incredibly enjoyable set, and a wonderful opportunity to play a complete, two-hour, vinyl only set!

I've just managed to compile the tracklisting for this one — which you'll appreciate takes a little longer for such a set! — and, for what it's worth, I generally try and buy vinyl-only releases, too, so there might be some gems in here that might not otherwise be available.

Live at Apollo Arcade, Vinyl Only (11th March, 2017)

Well, after a sizeable weekend, we can finally make available our recorded set from S*A*S*H By Day at Greenwood Hotel: Andrew Fazzolari—the other half of Attic—and I, opening the afternoon's proceedings.

Of course, just two days before, we'd hosted our second Attic event—with Nachtbraker joining us as our very special guest—so it was fitting and incredibly enjoyable to share the bill with Maurits once again, in the wonderful sunny surroundings of North Sydney on a Sunday afternoon.

This particular mix is a deeper, slower affair: 110–114 BPM melodic goodness; and a fairly decent insight into our musical ethos, and the sound we're pushing for our Attic brand—minus the disco flavours, of course.

Massive thanks to the S*A*S*H crew for the opportunity, and the hospitality over the course of the afternoon.  We enjoyed ourselves immensely and your brand is an absolute credit to our Sydney scene.

Live at S.A.S.H. (7th May, 2017)

Here is the recording from my set last weekend at the Queen's Birthday long weekend edition of Foxlife, playing alongside Slyfox resident, Rabbit Taxi @rabbittaxi, Pip Dalton @pipsda and Öncüm Yılmaz @oncumyilmaz.

I was handed the closing duties on this occasion—a fresh change and a little different from the warm-up set times to which I'm generally used to!—and played right through 'till morning, finishing at around six o'clock.

This particular set features a combination of my preferred melodic, Attic-style disco-driven deep house, as well as some tougher, techier numbers and concludes on a floaty, uplifting note; just the way to bring in the morning for the weary heads on the dance floor!

Really hope you dig this one!

Live at Foxlife (10th June, 2017)

We headed over to Manly last Friday evening to spread the Attic deeper disco vibes at Havana Beach Club for the 'Original Vibe' brand @originalvibemusic.

We arrived, loaded with plenty of new weapons we were itching to play: new cuts from Folamour's @folamour new album—no surprises there obviously!—as well as Ari Bald @aribald, Cody Currie @1codycurrie, Ethyène @ethyene and Black Loops @blackloops.

Despite the unseasonal rainy weather, there was a healthy turnout, who warmly danced the night away and rocked out to our tunes.  Of course, we were also joined by an excellent all-star cast from Sydney's house and disco DJ community, too, with Mr. Ben Korbel @ben-korbel on headline duties, the Original Vibe Man himself, Jordan Waller @jordanmwaller and the highly-accomplished DJ/producer trio, Dulcet @dulcetsyd!

Live at Original Vibe, Havana Beach (20th October, 2017)

Here's a new mix courtesy of the Attic stable from Mr. Fazzolari @andrewfazzolari and myself—a warm-up effort on this occasion, recorded live from our recent takeover for 'Nights Like This!' at Goodbar in Sydney.

We were handed the reigns of the upstairs bar for the entire evening, and we invited our new Melbournian friends, Milos and Jimmy from Kyoku Records @kyokurecords to join us!

We all played in tandem for most of the night—and, not surprisingly, much fun was had!—and here is the first hour of the evening: very much on the deeper, low, slow tip; ideal for getting the night underway... the right way.

Well, here is a new mix from me: something compiled, executed and delivered, just because...

Since we kicked off our Attic project last year; the vast majority of my DJ'ing has been centred around a housier, disco-centric sound—for which Attic is known—for both, our own events and other ad hoc DJ bookings in around town.

Of course, we love our Attic sound, however; during this last little while—somewhat regrettably—I've not had much of an opportunity to sit back and relish in some other musical guilty pleasures.  This particular line-up of deeper, melodic selections has allowed me to do just that.  This is a very much an indulgent mix—let's make no mistake about that.

Within, you'll hear some newer pieces; you'll hear some that I had stashed away for such an opportunity.  Each track has moved me or has made me feel something.

It's melodic, it's moody and if I've done my job correctly; you'll be taken on a journey for next 80 minutes or so.

The dust has settled on the last few busy weeks, and I'm finally making my recent solo S*A*S*H mix available—a deeper, warm-up effort in The Den, right before The Fazz and I took things big for the last couple of hours. Live at S.A.S.H. (10th November, 2019)

The Fazz @andrewfazzolari and I were kindly asked to open proceedings at S*A*S*H By Day on Sunday afternoon just passed.  Despite it appearing to be a smoky—and later, a rainy—affair in its early stages; the show must go on... and it certainly did.

We kicked off on the lower, slower, deeper tip, throwing on a selection of sub-110 BPM burners, setting the stage—and warming the floor—for Sondrio, Mo'funk and later... Black Loops!

Within this couple-of-hour-long offering, you'll hear a range of selections from the likes of Tilman, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Frits Wentink, Harold Heath, Jehan and Admin, to name just a few.

S.A.S.H. Lockdown Radio Mix (April 2020)

Normally, we'd collectively circle a date and eagerly await our next opportunity to catch up—beers, banter, laughs, and of course, the tunes.

In this current climate/during this challenging period; said opportunities haven't afforded themselves, so we've been forced to get a little creative with regard to a platform for sharing and consuming music together... and flexing our creative muscles in the process.

Enter 'The Lockdown Sessions'.  DJs In The Distance.  The first volume.

It's a DJ take on "pass the parcel"... in the best way possible.  Play four tracks and pass it on.  Four more, and on she goes.  No specific plan nor objective.  Just four of your favourites—newer, older, a guilty pleasure, a cherished favourite, or something experimental.  Whatever you please—it's your stanza.

This is the result: a (hopefully) cohesive 80-odd minutes of music from four mates.  Four like-minded individuals.  Compiled and mixed indulgently within our respective abodes.

DJs In The Distance 002: The Lockdown Sessions (August 2020)

If the last few months spent in and out of isolation have offered anything at all; it has been an opportunity to reconnect with older, largely forgotten favourites of years bygone.

In that spirit, I jumped on the Facebook Live airwaves with a swag full of trance favourites a treasured era of around ~1999–2007 and—not unexpectedly—was quickly booted due to the ol' copyright detection algorithm.  (Cheers, Zuck!)

In any case, I managed to record the entire three hours, and here it is.

Admittedly, it's been a while since I've dipped my toe into anything on the tip of "trance", however; the few hour-long session offered an opportunity to indulge selfishly in personal favourites, reflective of much simpler times.

I've decided to blow off some dust and throw this one into my 'Reminiscence Mix'—following an earlier progressive house effort in 2010—as the shoe fits.

I suspect I'll enjoy this one a few more times yet, and hope you do, too.

There are few phone calls we enjoy receiving more than those from Cris at @sashsundays.  A large, red, circled calendar date typically follows the conversation, accompanied with resulting excitement in preparation for our next S.A.S.H date.

Whether demanding a sweaty, pumping late-night/early-morning shift in The Den, the lower, slower, disco vibes in The Maze, or a sun-soaked warm-up effort at S.A.S.H By Day; bookings at S.A.S.H quickly become personal highlights and are always, always subject for excitement.

Well, we received this very call a couple of months back which came with a comforting indication: "once we're back; you're back."

With the ever-evolving situation that we call 2020; we have little doubt that the call came with an expectation that we'd be "back" in the saddle by now.  While that's not (yet) to be; we were offered a unique opportunity in the interim:

Back in September, we were—quite literally—handed the keys to the kingdom by Marley for the purpose of throwing down another edition of S.A.S.H's Sunday stanza for its Lockdown Radio series.  (And what a sweet space to spend an afternoon, it must be stated!)

We approached this as an opportunity to build our own theoretical S.A.S.H By Day composition—albeit, a condensed rendition of four hours—beginning with melodic, deeper vibes as a "warm-up", and running through deeper house, dashes of disco, with some top-drawer signature S.A.S.H-esque chuggers towards its conclusion.  Two parts Attic, two parts S.A.S.H, and plenty in-between.

This particular hour is the very first—more of a warm-up effort containing a selection of more off-the-grid, Attic-flavoured tunes from a line-up of "usual suspects".

While you're no doubt spoilt for choice with DJ mix content online nowadays; we hope that this offering will quench your thirst for all things S.A.S.H in your lounge room or office, in preparation for a time we're all back together on the (real) dance floor before too long. With a few months delay between the second and third effort; we challenged ourselves to finish the final edition before the end of the year, which meant completing two in a month—and hey, we made it!

DJs In The Distance 004: The Lockdown Sessions (December 2020)

In the spirit of defecting from the much-maligned third-person bio approach: in short, I am a Sydney-based DJ who specialises in the sounds of deeper house and disco.  I take delight in playing a solid warm-up set and revel in the success of watching a room build around it.

Since making my club debut as a fresh-faced eighteen-year-old at 'Thursday Delights' at the Icebox—a popular trance and hard dance event of the time—I have been lucky enough to play right across Sydney, enjoying bookings at Sounds on Sunday, S*A*S*H, Chinese Laundry, Plastic, Café del Mar, The Burdekin and Candy's Apartment; as well as larger-scale events such as Big Day Out and Harbour Party NYE.

In the process, I've also been fortunate enough to support some of the leading names in dance music—both locally and from around the world—including LCD Soundsystem, Booka Shade, Subb-an, Chymera, Sonja Moonear, Luke Chable, Jasper James, YokoO, Kenny Glasgow, Darren Emerson, Mark Dynamix and Kid Kenobi, to name just a few.

I like to put on the promoter hat, too, hosting and playing at events of my own: 'Attic' being my main project.

Since its inception, the Attic brand has enjoyed success in its standalone parties—for which we've toured renowned house and disco artists, Fouk, Nachtbraker, Folamour and Laurence Guy, to name a few—as well as appearing all around Sydney for invitational takeovers, radio appearances, and exclusive showcase sets.

Away from the club dancefloor, you might also find me playing an extended-length set in a low-lit bar, exercising the deeper, more eclectic selections of my record box—lower, slower and groovy, just the way I like it!

For ten years, I was heavily involved with the Internet radio game, hosting successful programs, 'Friday Night Live' and 'The M Shift'; on Indiesoundz and NSB Radio networks, respectively.  The M Shift, which ran for six years, specialised in breaks, house and drum 'n' bass, and was regularly enjoyed by thousands of live listeners, downloaders, and Podcast-listeners alike.

As above, I pride myself on playing a good warm-up set—added again for emphasis!—and believe it to be somewhat of a lost art form in this current age.

I also don't mind getting in the studio occasionally, but that facet, for now, is still very much a work in progress!
