I’ve been testing this track out on the road for the better part of 12 months, tweaking the moments until I felt it had just the right amount of dance floor appeal. It’s been so exciting to watch people connect with it right in front of me. I wrote the hook after wrapping up a club show at Audio in San Francisco back in June 2018. The crowd was really gravitating towards sustained, rolling grooves that night, so when I got back to the hotel I really felt the need to make one that was just for them. The speech in the breakdown is a sample of a local San Franciscan dance legend who I’ve respected for a long time, and I felt it was just too perfect to let the track out into the world without it.

Holy Molé returns with a hot 2-tracker from Ocean Roulette & VNSSA, backed up proper with remixes from Morelia, Steve Darko and Sara Landry. Packed with a fusion of club-ready rhythms and warped synths, 'Magic' and 'Blocked Calls' are pure ammo to get your crowds riled up.

Made with the dancefloor in mind, Morelia brings the energy up on his remix of 'Magic' with perfectly dubbed basslines and a breakdown laced with stretched out broken beats. Steve Darko uses a mix of tripped out synths to create a twisted track to stand out in your sets, and to close it out, Sara Landry serves up a pummeling mix of 'Blocked Calls' for the high voltage slots.

To celebrate, we brought together legendary purveyors of @NightBassRecords music for a unique blend of genres that culminate into one expertly crafted 9-track release. Label boss @ACSlater lights the torch with ‘Big Loud Heavy Bass’ - a track that speaks true to its name. @Chris-Lorenzo-1 keeps the big bass energy up with ‘Dash’, a certified club-banger that bounces seamlessly into the long-awaited Spicy Noodles VIP mix, courtesy of @Flava_D. A refreshingly melodic intro comes through on @Shift-Key’s ‘Ragz’, before descending into a shape-shifting bassline drop, paving the way for @Taiki-Nulight-uk’s musically diverse “Kush”, with the iconic Dread MC’s vocals. After that we have @djJayRobinson & @Jack-Beat’s ‘Hustler’, a stunning mix of each of their synth-laden bouncy sounds, that send you into the tinkering synth riffs on @Petey-Clicks' ‘Ugly’, an energetic number that’ll keep your feet shuffling into the next track, @Sinden’s ‘Work That’. This house number hits heavy from the start with a nice mix of vocal samples and a bumpin’ house beat.
