@maxedoutcrew -  “ City Props was an idea I came up with in the summer of 2022,  displaying to the crowd where each producer is from during my set and paying homage to the city where the music was produced, remixed or edited.  There are so many places all over the world pumping out different genres of music and they all have their own piece of flavour attached to them.  I feel it helps people connect with the music if you know where it’s from and offers a new experience during the set“

Cmax Music AKA City Props is a second generation DJ.  His father was among the first djs to start the movement and offer to play records at clubs in the early 70's out in New Brunswick Canada.  Cmax has been an avid music festival attendee here in BC for years now,  having hit his first Shambhala in 2004 and watching Basscoast grow to be one of the most desirable festivals in Canada. The summer of 2021 brought on the opportunity to put a set together for Under the stars festival and it ended up being his first time playing solo live. Future House Music (FHM) is one of electronic music’s fastest-growing independent record labels. Founded by Aart van den Dool & Gino van Eijk in 2014, the label has grown into a close-knit community around the globe, reaching 1 million YouTube subscribers within only 4 years, and since 2024 they achieved a massive milestone of 3 billion Spotify streams with less than 1500 label releases!

The idea behind the start of Future House Music was to create an online platform for the niche music of future house back in 2014, where fans and artists shared their love for music. The platform organically found more traction, and from there we decided to evolve into a record label in 2015. Fast forward, the independent label has over 300 releases to date and hosts showcase and festival stages across the world, whilst launching the FHM merchandise line. With a team of 5 based in its hometown Rotterdam, Future House Music aims to be at the forefront of electronic dance music, connecting and evolving together with the most exciting talents and artists today. Our mission & vision statement is: creating a world-class house community to champion artists and fans, by setting trends, challenging the status quo, and sharing the passion for house music.

Stewart Beades, also known as DJ Stewe B, is a seasoned DJ and music producer originally from the UK, now based in Queensland, Australia. With a career spanning over two decades, Stewe B’s journey into electronic music began in 1998, mixing tracks in his bedroom and spinning at intimate house parties. His passion and persistence quickly led to his first public gig at The Gallery in Birmingham, marking the start of his presence in the UK club scene.

He soon became a resident DJ at Heroes Bar, playing two nights a week, and eventually secured a warm-up slot at the renowned Steering Wheel nightclub. As his profile grew, Stewe B took to the decks at major underground events like Bump Nights, and held sets in the back rooms of legendary UK club nights such as Godskitchen and Sundissential, where he made his mark playing hard house and uplifting electronic sets.

In 2010, Stewart relocated to Queensland, Australia, where he shifted his focus toward music production—channeling years of live DJ experience into creating original tracks. With a deep understanding of the dance floor and a love for energetic, crowd-moving music, DJ Stewe B continues to evolve his sound, bridging classic underground vibes with fresh, forward-thinking production.

Whether behind the decks or in the studio, DJ Stewe B brings passion, history, and authenticity to everything he does. Stay tuned—this journey is far from over.
