From mellow melodies and hypnotic blues to thunderous grooves and screaming guitar solos with waves of warm fuzz, The Braes offer a breed of energetic rock and jam music with a little something for everyone. Based in Berryville VA, the Crossley brothers and Hammersly twins joined forces in the Fall of 2011 and immediately went to work writing and forging their sound with elements of Funk, Blues, Folk, Rock, and Reggae. After a steady year of gigging and polishing their sound, A CD sits just over the horizon for this ambitious and passionate group. Like it or not, The Braes are here to stay.

In this dreadful time of over-produced pop rock, ear shattering dub step and auto-tuned tweens, we're here to remind people that you don't need a mac-book to create some solid grooves.

Hey, my name is Dain Norman, I'm a multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. I believe in Love-Love one another, and don't dwell on the pity downfalls of life, they're just a stepping stone toward greater enlightenment.. :)

I am an East Coast girl living in a Northwest world. I strive to transplant listeners to a singular moment in my life and completely envelop them in an emotion–be it negative or positive.  Aside from my first album, I write, perform and record all of my songs.
