Formado por Diego Souza (ex-Gametas) : vocais e baixo, Salomão Rodrigues (ex-Os Abreus): guitarras e backing vocals e Alan Cunha (Disola) : bateria, Os Reguladores são herdeiros legítimos da cena rock que se formou nos anos 2000 na pequena e pacata Guadalupe ( bairro do subúrbio carioca). Eles trazem de volta a sonoridade “Grunge” dos anos 90 com suas guitarras altas e distorcidas e suas composições urgentes. Um “power trio” barulhento com um punhado de riffs possantes e melodias descoladas.
        “No Escuro”, seu primeiro single, que está sendo lançado neste mês de Setembro de 2016 traz uma boa amostra da pungência do trio. No Setlist do show, a banda traz músicas novas que serão lançadas em breve no seu primeiro EP (ainda sem título) e antigas composições da extinta banda “Getúlio Suicida”, na qual Diego Souza era membro (baixista e backing vocals) entre 2000 e 2004, além do cover “SHE” do Kiss.
        As influências incluem QOTSA, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin e o próprio Kiss. Os Reguladores é rock sem frescura. É a volta ao básico. São os novos caras que chegaram na cidade sem muita pompa, mas com muita vontade de ser e fazer feliz aqueles que comungam do velho espírito rock ´n´roll, munidos de ótimas e ruidosas canções para celebrar um rock sem frescura mas com muita diversão e potência sonora.

Manwhore is een vierkoppige rockband uit de kustregio. Muzikaal bevindt de band zich ergens tussen de rootsrock van JJ Grey, de retrorock van The Black Keys & de sexy én duistere grooviness van QOTSA. Hun grooverock doorspekken ze met vleugen van Doorsy blues, primitieve protorock, soulful songs, bluesrock en uitstapjes in eighties wave of nineties rock. Verder zijn er invloeden te horen uit reggae, latin rock, 70's psychedelica, glam & garage rock.

Het eerste jaar sleept Manwhore meteen al de publieksprijs van Verse Vis (De Zwerver, Leffingeleuren) en een clip (NARAFI, Brussel) in de wacht. Een demo brengt hen vervolgens naar tal van podia en een driedaagse in de 4AD (Diksmuide). Terwijl de songs rijpen om een debuutalbum op te nemen, wordt 2012 een mooi jaar met optredens in de 4AD, Iron Muide (Gent), Seaside Revisited (De Panne) en een eigen festival. Vorig jaar was de band geselecteerd voor Westtalent.

Manwhore staat nu klaar om een stapje hogerop te zetten en doet dat met een zingende soul&rock drummer, kletterende keys en enthousiaste 70s gitaren.

The Crux

Alt Rock 5 piece from Sheffield, UK, who write & perform their own unique brand of edgy Riff- Rock fusing together a massive yet melodic sound with clever lyrics & in your face vocals. Inspired by the 90's Rock era and drawing on a diverse set of influences including; Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, QOTSA, NIN, Tool, Faith No More & Rage Against the Machine.

The Story So Far

The band were formed after three old school friends; Taylor (Vox) Andy & Ollie (Guitars) were re-united with Jow (Bass) during a stag do in Prague in the summer of 2011. After years of idle talk about forming a band they eventually bit the bullet and hit the rehearsal room in April 2012. Starting out playing a few covers to find their musical feet but quickly moving on to writing their own songs, songs built around Andy & Ollie’s guitar riffs and Taylor’s back catalogue of lyrics. After adding friend of a friend Lee on drums to the equation, and an initial 10 months perfecting their crime in the rehearsal room,  they hit the Sheffield gig circuit in March 2013.

Filling in at short notice they made an unexpected debut gig at MAGNA centre in front of 4,500 revellers, supporting top Rolling Stones tribute band ‘The Stones’. After a number of other gigs around Sheffields live venues they went on to support city stalwarts, blues rock outfit ‘Fallen Tree’s’, in a near sell out gig at Sheffield’s much revered ‘Plug’ venue proving their big Riff-Rock sound suits the live performance as well as the recording studio.
Following on from Plug their music was played on BBC Radio as well as other local and international stations including ‘Rock Radio’ and their first magazine article quickly followed in the form of a double page spread in one of the cities favourite glossy read ‘City Magazine’.
The band went on to play their Cities own ‘Tramlines’ Festival (the biggest ‘City Centre’ music festival in Europe), Sheffield’s legendary ‘Leadmill’ venue along with ‘SOLD OUT’ dates at the O2 Academy and the Corporation. 2014 promises to be an important year in the bands development; they are currently planning their first physical & digital record release, a UK tour and a whole load of other stuff including their first pro music video. It's not suprising then that they have recently started to attract the attention of promoters and are being offered slots at festivals around the country.
Their music is best described as 90’s inspired alternative hard rock, though through their own admission each band member draws on quite a diverse set of influences. You’ll probably be able to pick out a few obvious ones; Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Audioslave,  Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, QOTSA, NIN, Tool, Faith No More and even Rage Against The Machine but there are more subtle ‘nods’ to other bands, artists & genres, including more recently the hip hop fraternity.

In just 10 months gigging they have created a formidable musical alliance, doing exactly what they set out to do; write and perform interesting, creative, edgy, ballsy rock music, music they themselves would want to listen to. Though having to juggle band commitments along with everyday priorities of work and family life has seen them meander through 2013 like some kind of one eyed musical yeti; with a magnificent, intricately detailed and polished winkle picker for the ‘Rock Muso’ on one foot, and ‘Joe Publics’ sodden steel toe cap on the other!!

It is clear this band are still evolving but they clearly have a style they can call their own – they are clearly on a journey together and even they don’t know what’s coming next.  If they continue to climb the upward trajectory of their own steep learning curve in 2014, then expect many heads to turn!!
Music

Amongst the catchy foot tapping psychedelic swirl & rhythmic thump of ‘Intravenous’, one of the bands earlier songs, the dark lyrics and mumbled vocals could easily draw comparison to Joy Division, whilst their more recent track ‘Cyanide Smiles’, aside from the QOTSA style chugging of guitars, the chorus showcases a Nirvana-esque twang reminiscent of ‘Heart Shaped Box’.

Unpredictability in a band can be a good thing; it keeps things interesting and you just know this 5 piece are going to throw a few musical curveballs into the mix, but you can also be confident they are going to be on the money musically as well. Be ready to experience a nose grinding mixture of explosive intro’s, tempo changes, cutting throw away riffs, drops outs, harmonies and catchy vocal lines, all held together with clever fills, a melodic groove and a finely tuned, balanced sound; their set is clearly rehearsed to within an inch of its life and when the time comes these guys deliver with real attitude & an un-erring confidence.

The band are conscious not be so leftfield that they actually damage the musical content of their songs for the sake of art or whatever, their songs remain melodic. They are quickly becoming a beast of an animal, constantly evolving, patiently waiting, absorbing their surroundings and environment, probing the local music scene and listening to feedback before finally unleashing their work on what is usually an unsuspecting audience. Their current set is to die for, It’s well thought out, it has balls (big hairy balls at that), attitude, rhythmic groove, eye watering solo’s and riffs galorous.

Whilst most bands are busy looking for acceptance into a scene or genre and the subsequent ‘pigeon holing’ which ensues, these guys are desperate not to suffer such a fate and wish to be known simply as a ‘Rock’ band. This is kind of fortunate as each of the bands collective 10 legs could easily plant a size 9 in any number of rocks musical sub genres; Desert, Alt, Stoner, Garage, Groove, there are even elements of Funk and Metal being bounced around. Don’t get me wrong they aren’t re-inventing the art of Rock music, but what they are doing is slightly different from any other band on the local scene. Their sound is very much their own and to me the Soul Fire Saints are like a beacon of ambient light buzzing away beneath the cold steel skies of the Steel City. Few, other than those already exposed to their wares will know about them, though I’m pretty certain this won’t be the case for very much longer, if it’s true that the cream always rises to the top – then I would put my mortgage on these guys getting kudos and the recognition they deserve in 2014.
So, in summary, you have three choices; stick to what you know, grow more familiar with it, embrace it & learn to live with it; like you would a club foot, or, go out and find something else, something new, fuss over it, hope it grows testicles, try to love it like a long lost brother, before ultimately discovering it’s very mediocre, thus the fire in your belly dies, your new found friends slowly drift away and your life plunders helplessly into obscurity and self abuse.

Or take up the option of going to see these guys in action, become so cool you develop a swagger that would make John Wayne look like Louis Spence, decide you want to have their babies and enjoy the f*cking ride, yelling ‘hell yeah’ to passers-by - Soul Fire Saints styleeeeee!!

Destroy She Said, the hard rock band from Melbourne, Australia are a grinding, incessant machine fuelled by a heady diet of classic 
Aussie rock and filtered through a range of influences including Black Sabbath, QOTSA, AC/DC and Rose Tattoo.
Their debut album Down to Dirty rolls right up to the listener, ready to pick a fight and buy you a beer after it’s over.
It’s all swagger and dirty boogie: guitar-driven, dangerous, street-smart music that’s tough, brutal and honest. 
The five members of the band, singer Simon McCullough, guitarists Youngy and Dave Walker, bass player Scampers and drummer Greg 
Aldridge all came together towards the end of 2009. From the first rehearsal there was a feeling that they were building something special. 
From that moment, the band put into place the work ethic that continues to drive them into 2013. 
It’s a tried and true formula – work hard in rehearsal, make great records and build a fanbase on the back of killer live shows. According to the 
band, the reason it’s tried and true is because it still remains the best way to become a great rock band.
And if you listen to the critics, Destroy She Said’s Down to Dirty has thrust them, if not into the echelon of greatness, then definitely within its 
city limits.
Melbourne’s Hard Rock Show, broadcast weekly on Channel 31 described the album as “…one of the loudest, most balls out rock releases of 
the last decade.” They reckon that “Down to Dirty is a modern pub rock masterpiece.”
So what is it that makes it so good?
A lot of listeners, when first hearing singer Simon McCullough immediately draw comparisons to Bon-era AC/DC. But there’s a lot more going 
on than that. 
There’s a stoner rock thing going on for sure. There’s a classic Gibson/Marshall guitar tone over the top of a rhythm section that speaks of 
thousands of sweaty beer soaked gigs. 
There’s a rock groove that sucks so much air it’s nearly falls back in on itself. And there’s an irreverent, tongue in cheek side to the song writing 
that is quintessentially Australian.
West Australian magazine 100% Rock said: “What puts Down To Dirty ahead of the pack is the sheer originality of the band. Yeah there’s an 
Aussie pub rock sound going on at its core – but what you can hear is all Destroy She Said; a unique blend of different influences and tastes 
made by five guys melding into something greater than the sum of their parts.”
2013 is all about consolidation and growth for Destroy She Said – following the tried and true formula – work hard, make great records and 
build the fan base.
 Is it working? The answer’s gotta be yes, because with each passing day, this band of brothers from Melbourne’s inner suburbs wins over new 
fans, who, just like the ones before them, are loyal, passionate and right into the band. 
And it seems like they all ask the same question – “where the fuck have these guys been and why the fuck haven’t I heard this album before?”

Band

Run Run Run is an “indie” rock band. Whether based in Manchester UK, Los Angeles, Moscow, Rensselaerville, NY or Miami, the quintet consists of Xander Smith (vocals, guitar), Nic Speck (bass), Doug Palmer (guitar), Francisco DeCun (drums, percussion) and Alek Speck (lights, keys, melodica, percussion)

Run Run Run is the brainchild of lead singer/guitarist Smith, formerly of Otherstarpeople. The band was formed after some rousing recording sessions with the late Fred Drake (Earthlings! Mark Lanagan, QOTSA, Victoria Williams) at Rancho de la Luna.
Songs for their Drizzle e.p came to be in Manchester, UK and were completed with UK guitarist Phil Cunningham (New Order/Bad Lieutenant/Marion) and Monte Pittman (Madonna/Adam Lambert).

In the Fall of 2005, Run Run Run’s unique indie rock sound and hypnotic lo-fi light show, two EPs and support slots for the Strokes, Psychedelic Furs and My Chemical Romance caught the attention of Billboard Magazine. Billboard organized a showcase for the band. This performance and a residency at Silverlake’s renowned Club Spaceland landed Run Run Run a record deal for “Endless Winter.”

On the road: Fall of ’07 to Fall 2008, Run Run Run headlined a U.S. club tours, showcased for KCRW at CMJ, appeared at SXSW and played shows with Interpol, Ween, The Bravery and Sparta.

The “Good Company” ep was released on January 27, 2009. This is a full digital release (including iTunes) and features their new video for the title track (available for download). These songs have already landed on KROQ, the former INDIE 103.1 in L.A. as well as radio stations across the U.S. Run Run Run recorded this e.p. with U.K. hitmaker Noah Shain and legendary front man, Steve Perry. Listen for tracks on MTV, VH1 and “The Hills.” The “Good Company” video was directed by actress Pauley Perrette (NCIS, ALMOST FAMOUS, THE RING) and Michael Bosman for PM radio.

“Pico” was the most recent U.S. release from Run Run Run. A KROQ sponsored release party on June 17, 2010 was the first chance to get a hold of latest CD. It was recorded with A&M studio’s famous API console, and features the title track “Pico” and “On and On”. Available both physically and digitally, Rx3 is toured the rest of 2010, including dates in Russia with Mumiy Troll from Vladivostok.
In 2011, supporting their international release “Run Run Run” [a self-titled remastered compilation of favorite tracks from previous U.S. releases], Live Nation sponsored a U.S. tour and the band raised its tour funds via fans and friends “kickstarter” on amazon.com. This yielded over $10,000 which let the band free from having to recoup what the music industry has referred to as “tour support,” and actualized the band as a fully self-supporting, indie entity. 2012 saw the band return to Russia for its fourth visit, playing to tens of thousands, and buzzing on MTV russia. In 2013, Rx3 is set to record its new album, and hopes to bring it’s music to Australia, Indonesia, and Asia as well as Europe once again.
