Gabe Goodman and Will Radin played in bands together throughout their high school years in the suburbs of Boston. While most of those projects have since been laid to rest, the one that has endured is The Homing Bureau - a collaboration of just the two of them. 

The Homing Bureau was formed in 2011. Over summers and school breaks in a barn in New Hampshire, the duo began work on what would eventually become their 2014 releases, “To Only Have Come Back” and “Feeling Fair” (which featured a video by New York filmmaker Marissa Goldman).

In the years since, Radin completed his college degree and Goodman toured as a performing member of the pop group Magic Man, as well as contributing to other projects (Photocomfort, Future Teens, a forthcoming solo project). Their new single “Bad Machine” features a brighter, brasher sound in contrast with the stark R&B of their previous work. The vocals are no longer hushed, the tempo has crept up a good bit, and the sun has come out.

The Novel Ideas are a country folk quintet of friends from the great state of Massachusetts. Featuring the voices of three different songwriters, The Novel Ideas create a blend of pastoral, harmony driven, and plaintive Americana. They spent the past year touring nationally in support of their 10" single "Lost on the Road", featuring two new songs and marking the band's first effort as a five piece. In 2014, The Novel Ideas headed to Los Angeles to record a new full length album, with producer Rick Parker (Lord Huron, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), with a release to be announced. They’ve shared the stage with acts such as Lord Huron, The Oh Hellos, Augustines, Little Green Cars, and are currently touring nationally.
