Inspired by a drawing of Anastasia Volkova, i really loved this mysterious atmosphere in the picture, and tried to recreate it in some composition.

I don't know if I'm ready for what's the life is preparing for me... I don't know if i have enough time to make my life any better, and lives of my friends and family... i don't know if I'm making the right decisions right now.

But one thing i know - I need to keep going, and counter my fears.
And music, will help me with that.

Counter Fear

My first song exploring the A Natural Minor Scale. What interested me was the similarity to the C Major Scale in that they both only use the white piano keys. Being new, I wondered what the difference was. My intuition told me it's centered on the different root note of the harmony and melody. Using ChatGTP as a mentor, I learned it is also the chords: A Natural Minor tends to use minor chords whereas C Major tends to use Major chords. Here's my first attempt at using the A Natural Minor Scale!

My first song after returning from a 20 year hiatus of making music. This song will always have a special meaning to me, as it was the moment where I felt like I unlocked the magic of music. I learned chords, chord progressions, harmonies, melodies, and ostinatos in 15 minutes from my first music theory lesson, and then composed this song afterwards on my own. It is magic.
