Lil Keisha embodies the new wave of Hip-Hop and R&B music that’s  filled with emotions and love-tinged melodies, and memorable bars.
Born Keisha Coleman and raised in Chicago’s West Side, Lil Keisha’s interest in music started early at the age of 10, she formed a music group, “Unique” with her sister.
Such was the keen interest and that explains her persona. She’s determined, unfazed, looking to standout and also help to pave the way for other female artists to shine through. And after looking at how the industry was structured—more recognition to the male artists and less to the females, she created an all-female cypher in 2016. Calling it “Chicago CypHER” with the aim of bringing female unity to the forefront.
Lil Keisha’s sound is filled with vivid storytelling aided with catchy, smooth melodic flows. Sometimes, she’s laid-back and relaxed and other times, she brings on her fiery rap flow.

Lil Keisha breakthrough came in 2016 when her entry for the SoGone challenge organized by platinum recording artist, Monica got reposted by Monica herself. Buoyed by that, she released her debut EP, “Bride of Chucky” in 2017. The project featured Grammy Award winner, Shawnna.



Her recent release, Think About You once again brings to fore, her R&B inspired flow about her romantic feelings with the soulful voice of Johni Demeatri aiding the narrative.
