ESC_ (Escape) is a brand-new record label revealing exciting new sounds and artists amongst the underground community.

ESC_ label owners involve DJ and producers DV-US, Dunman and Vexxy who will be hosting a series of their events in two prominent places for dance music and student life in the UK; Bristol city and Bournemouth. Previously before the birth of ESC_, DJ and producer DV-US (ESC_ label co-founder) ran well established record label ‘Sub Low Audio’. Releasing many artists, such as other ESC_ label cofounders: Dunman and Vexxy, followed by up and coming names in the scene like Host.

The ESC_ label differs itself from others by giving lesser known artists, sounds and sub-genre's more recognition. Each ESC_ co-founders musical backgrounds stem from experimental Grime, Dubstep, 4x4, Wifey and R&G. So, prepare your ear buds for new sounds and artists who will guide you into a new era of experimental and electronic dance music.

To celebrate the opening of the new record label, ESC_ is dropping a free download shortly before their first EP drops in February. First ESC_ release is an artist each co-founder has worked with closely and they are very eager to release this one...

Jungle Brown are set to release their second full-length LP, ‘Full Circle’, on the Mr Bongo label in September 2019. 

The first single from this new project, ‘Keep It Movin’, will be released on the 3rd May – perfectly timed for summer. The single fuses a Tribe Called Quest-esque sound with future rap, adorned with a smooth sax line from UK jazz all-star, Ayo Yung Afrika Pyoneer, and backing vocals from Jungle Brown’s own producer, Tony Bones. 

The trio – Ric Flo, MAEAR & Tony Bones – have spent the last two years redefining soulful hip-hop – the sound is bigger, more thought-provoking, and it has matured with a rich soulful underpinning. They have also entered territories fans are yet to hear from them as they glide effortlessly over Tony Bones’ productions that introduce trap and house into their repertoire. The project is an eclectic array of their influences, twisted and blended together to create a ground-breaking release for UK music.
