"I made this track when exploring a slightly darker side of my music on a rainy evening over winter. I wanted to do something slightly different from my usual stuff. I made most of the track out of recording household objects. I set some mics up in my kitchen to record lots of the percussion sounds for example. The idea was I wanted it to have a metallic and industrial sound with loads of reverb like it's being played out in an empty warehouse..."

Lies are Oscar and Piero, both from Irpinia (South Italy) and music lovers too. The duo began to play together about 10 years ago, around 2001 when they met each other in a post-hardcore punk band, setting up a partnership that continues till today. Over the years of listening, they passionated to sounds of Warp records, Ninja Tune’s refined environments, not forgetting the melodies of some electronic radio sound, and continuously updating their bag of influences.
With Lies they merge many passions into a single project, developing a very deep and atmospheric sound.
