Chandler Jay is a second generation native New Yorker who started his musical career playing woodwinds as a teen. Although he was able to read music, his interests fell shy of composing scores and leaned toward writing lyrics early on. "I remember sitting on the school bus on the way to school, and hearing Snoop's: What's My Name on the radio. Something about the samples, Snoop's flow and the way New York looked outside the bus window at the time told me that I should do this..." He attended the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, joining an elite group of musical alumni including the late, great Gil Scott Heron. 
On January 1st of 2012, where as a large population of the world was expecting the Mayan Prophecy to come true, Chandler was blessed with a beautiful son, Logan, and vowed from that day forward to focus on creating something original and artistic that they could both be proud of. He has dedicated hours to writing screenplays, comedy sketches and countless songs. Influenced by the deep tradition of Jazz with touches of everything from African rhythms to classical themes and eclectic soul sounds, Chandler blends together a versatile range of genres to form a unique sound, bringing us a kind of hip-hop that has yet to be heard.
In addition to striving to put his own dreams into fruition, he has acted as an advisor and confidant to various up and coming independent artists. Chandler's intention is to use his talents in collaboration to produce music and art that will enlighten people of all types around the world to reflect, uplift and rise up.
