The end was nigh; every avenue had been exhausted but all to no avail. This wasn't the outcome she'd hoped for, moving forward had been her priority from the outset. But her mind that couldn't shake the image. As much as she'd tried to block it out, it had become impossible. If her waking thoughts weren't consumed by it, her dreams were — that was something she couldn't control. 

One of our favourite dystopian soundtrackers Rat Life Records are returning with another EP 'to accompany the end of the world'. The label, run by producer and DJ Credit 00, have previously shared apocalyptic sounds from Fotze & Fatzke, Westlake & Hayter and Mr Incognito, and are now welcoming Rome-based producer Religious Order to the family. The six tracks across his 'Luci Nere' EP boast the gritty textures we've come to expect of a Rat Life release: a fusion of sludgy electro rhythms, eerie acid lines and distorted EBM vocal hits.

After first appearing on MRG010, Czech artist Exhausted Modern is back on Marguerite Records with a solo EP called “Deform | Reform”.
A side opens up with the dreamy electro-ish “Giving form to chaos”, followed by the high tension ambient-techno cut “The self unselving”; A3 is a trippy oddball slow-tempo jams called “Old disguises”.
B side unwraps with “De creatura” and “Riddles of creation”, respectively on B1 and B2: the Endless Illusion boss crafted two ambient cuts characterized by haunting soundscapes, weird voices cut ups and deep basslines.
The title track ”Deform _ Reform” closes the EP in a Sabres of Paradise-esque manner with a communion of dub and industrial rhythmics and patterns.


Limited edition of 50 professionally dubbed tapes.

Rubber welcomes Swedish artist Towa Isling (towLie) under her skitungen alias. While some of you might be familiar with distorted drums and seething synth lines from the käfTen records founder, her skitungen project emits a more brazen energy. Längre än Långtån embodies Towa’s raw and DIY approach, but takes an unexpected turn towards the odd and dreamy. This results in a beautiful assembly combining Towa’s ethereal voice with satisfying weirdo beat music.
The 7inch, pressed on Rubber’s signature high quality white vinyl, is accompanied by a cover designed by Berlin-based multi media artist Puck Verkade.
