Episode 36 meets one of my faves, German DJ and producer, @tinicouldbeworse.

Although she never intended to make it her profession, tINI has always loved music. At home in Munich, she learned to mix early on and quickly fell in love with electronic music, balancing her work and her passion until she was ready to take the leap into pursuing DJing full time. 

Since then, she’s become an artist in her own right, putting out several releases and even starting her own now-infamous event series, @tiniandthegang. Despite over 20 years in the game, her approach to DJing remains deeply passionate. In this episode, we discuss her musical roots, her dedication to her craft, and the discipline required to stay afloat in this industry.

Being a regular at our communities’ cornerstone events and clubs, he straddles the very fine line between minimal, house, techno, garage, bass music and everything in between. From his solo works for the likes of Half Baked, Raum, Metereze, and his own Elephant Moon and Synq imprints John is as constant source of inspiration. Something that he shares with his partner in crime Voigtmann as their VOIGT.MAS moniker is beginning to bear some seriously tasty fruit by way of their long player and incendiary DJ sets for Distrikt Paris, Danube, and Gottwood to name just a few of the dancefloors to have benefitted from outfit. Holly’s minimal and hybrid sound has been growing in the underground scene over the past few years and has evolved into a stripped back, up-tempo flavour. 

She’s played across the UK and Europe alongside the likes of Cosmjn, Spokenn, Lauren Lo Sung and Voigtmann.

Holly presents us with a podcast just under 2 hours long and is a welcomed edition to the series :)

Juan talent and versatility in different styles have allowed him to play in the best events in Argentina and other countries. His own produced tracks have caught the ear of many people and reached the bag of some of the top DJs at the moment.

Reiss has a unique charm behind the decks, using rhythms and soundscapes in surprising combinations that create unmistakeable atmospheres for dance floors and headphones alike. For mix 221 in our series we get an exquisite example of this signature sound and a brief insight into his extensive record collection.

Reiss has been a pivotal figure of the Amsterdam house and techno underground for quite some time and is a close affiliate of the VBX crew DJing regularly at their events and releasing on the VBX label in collaboration with Ferro, under their Spokenn moniker.
