Collaboration a Distance avec Gilles Pedoussaut un ami. Les Textes sont de Jim Morrison (extraits d'ORANGE COUNTY SUITE et extraits de QUEEN OF THE HIGHWAY). Nous nous sommes réuni pour élaborer la composition musicale. Par la suite je me suis occupé de la programmation et de l'enregistrement d'une partie des guitares. Gilles a enregistré de son côté le chant et une autre partie des guitares. Mixé a la maison, c'est du produit du terroir c'est frais et ça à commencé par une belle rencontre, il y a plusieurs année, de 2 dingues de musique, passionnés par Tom Waits et Franck Zappa!! L'envie de faire quelque chose ensemble est vite venu, il nous a fallu un peu de temps pour le réaliser mais on est content de partager ça avec vous (Morceaux téléchargeable). 

This song is the result of a collaboration with Gilles Pedoussaut a friend. The texts came from Jim Morrison ( ORANGE COUNTY CONTINUED extracts and extracts QUEEN OF THE HIGHWAY ) . We've met us to develop the musical composition. There after I took care of programming and recording some guitars. Gilles recorded the voices and others guitars parts . Mixed at home, it's a local product, it's fresh and it started with a beautiful meeting , there are several year , 2 crazy music lovers, fascinated by Tom Waits and Frank Zappa !! The urge to do something together came soon but it took us some time to realize it. Now we're happy to share it with you ( downloadable tracks ).

Synthesizers, drumcomputers, and fuzz guitars. Lover of 1930s blues and skeletons. Fingerstyle guitar and punk attitude.
OONAZOONA is performing as a 21st century one-man-band.

Solo project using GarageBand on an iPhone 6 plus. 

I use a Schecter Electric Guitar with an iRig mobile, and a pair of iPhone stock headphones to record vocals.  Some tracks use an acoustic guitar miked with the iPhone headphones.  Many tracks are recorded in a pickup truck.  I have used hand tools as percussion instruments and I have been known to record vocals while driving. 

For the most part these are recorded in one take per instrument - lyrics are only written down AFTER the song is "done".  The lyrics are fantastical and improvised, often recorded in a car.  This is rock and roll fantasy escapism for me. 

I used to play drums in several bands but have always messed around with any instrument I can get my hands on.  No formal training in any of this.

So enjoy! Don't take them too seriously, and use your imagination!

Most everything else is created by me, but I give credit to others in the track descriptions in a few cases.

I like to compose in different styles, deeply influenced by classical music, especially Baroque. I love soul, funk, jazzy rock and pop.
