Coastill is a US Drum and Bass artist blending the brass, funk, and soul from his city of New Orleans with the raw and classic Bristol sound. Ever since importing his first Full Cycle release at 15, he has been working to bring his sound to the UK scene. In the USDNB circuit, Coastill has opened for major acts including Matrix and Futurebound, TC, Icicle, Adam F, Teddy Killerz, Trace, DJ Rap, Dara, Gridlok, and more. His first release on the legendary Ruffneck Ting, the Casino EP, is due out this summer and is getting support from the likes of DJ Dazee, Roni Size, and K Jah. He also recently released a dark jungle bootleg of Denzel Curry’s “Ricky” as well as a soulful rework of Khalid’s “Talk” which mixes NOLA horns with Bristol-tinged bass.
