Vomvo is back with a cinematic story by the Danish artist Pete Oak. He is definitely one of the men to follow this year. Pete presents an amazing selection of pure electronic sounds giving his personal touch and offering his own soundtrack.
Vomvo is a conceptual album created by Sincopat that gives a different artist every year the chance to orchestrate a personal vision of his sound. Darlyn Vlys was the first one to develop this concept and AFFKT continued last year with another stunning collection. In 2007, we have Pete Oak as the leader, so let's enjoy the journey:
"For this VOMVO I wanted to create a dark, melancholic and emotional mood. I’m a big fan of the dark aspect of house music. For me it brings out a lot of emotions and joy - it pulls me into a small universe with no worries, no hate, no pain and no Donald Trumps - only love”.

The final Diynamic Music release of 2017 is coming: It’s called “Cargo EP” by Dutch- man Tom Zeta.

Although he has only started releasing electronic music in 2016, Tom Zeta is in no way new to it: he studied Composition and Music Technology in Utrecht to build a professional foundation for his music and to find his own sound.

Opening track “Absorption” is a strong melodic Techno track with sudden percussion intermezzos along the way. “Black Owl”’s Techno drums take you on a nightly pursuit through an abandoned metropolis. Closing off the EP is “Rhino”, a hypnotic Deep House anthem you won’t get out of your ears.

The EP title “Cargo” refers to all the small bits and pieces his tracks loaded from a journey to South Africa, where he recorded all kinds of nature and animal sounds like woodpeckers, frogs, ibis, crickets and many more, so listen closely.

"London’s Talal is next to step up to the respected DAR Label. He’s been making major moves since 2015 and counts the likes of Adam Beyer and John Digweed as fans. He’s climbed high in Beatport charts thanks to his fresh tunes and has played all across Ibiza and Europe. Here he offers up a fresh new cut with remixes to cover many different styles from Dinamica Era, Ewan Rill, Nihil Young, and Gleb Reubens. 
The single is a slow and absorbing one called Mercurial, with deep, rolling drums and celestial chords. A heavenly male vocal is whispered and adds real tenderness to this most sensitive of grooves. 

The first remix from Dinamica Era is a more direct number but still just as deep, with spine tingling chords and rumbling bass. Ewan Rill goes for a trance inducing track with soft synths and vocals casting a fine spell, and Nihil Young and Less Hate add more bold kick drums and smeared synths that bring spaced out and cosmic vibes. Last of all, Gleb Rubens gets up with his synths and makes for a colourful version riddled with great pads and plenty of colour. 

All in all this is a classy package of well crafted and emotional club tracks."

For the 9th instalment on @alphamusiclabel we welcome the new arrival of Maltese up and coming artist, VOOR, where he takes us into the Fifth Dimension.

The headlining track, "Fifth Dimension", kicks of a with a mystic aura, loosing you in a forest of synth, as the penetrating arp comes in, raining down. Dragging the listener into a trance, the falling arp drags you into a mystic and melodic breakdow with beautiful piano notes, only to be broken into a groovy dancing vibes by the rain falling arp. An undeniably emotional track.

Next in order comes "Virgo". Starts off making one think it will be almost a dubby calm track, but VOOR had other intentions. A round rolling bass only to introduce a heavy arp-esque bassline and dark melodic tones, broken down with a blipping sound, only to find yourself with a throwback drumroll of snares that take you into a vicious beat-bass-melody combination, that will carry with its dark tones throughout the track. A definitive dancefloor weapon.

For the last of the originals we have "Blooming Days". A light crackle over an approaching rythmic bass prepare the environment for an evolving melody and growing pads that open up into a tense breakdown. An uncertain calm moment of rest before the sharp arp takes you into a hypnosys of danceable sounds that will move you body.

Closing the EP, we welcome Cuprite with a remix of "Virgo". With an assertive progressive vibe, but a fast pace that will hype up everyone's body. An evolving bass, going from a trancy vibe to an almost disco tone, creates a surprising funky vibe that will keep everyone guessing what happens next, as they shake their body to the irresistible groove. Keeping the epic melodic tones from the original, we find ourselves with a track that trails between the realm of funky groove and hard hitting progressive. It might be the first time we receive Cuprite, but definitely not the last.

AB009 offers a dancefloor oriented focus, with entrancing melodies and hard beats that will be pleasant to anyone's ears.
