"Gouranga have long been fans and supporters of the Disco Deviance sound. In an exciting new collaboration they are releasing some new DD T shirts based on the classic logo in a variety of wonderful colours. It was an honour to be asked to compile a mix to accompany the launch.

Nostalgia is a strange and dangerous beast, but in this craziest of years I decided any excuse to play music (even in my basement) should be accepted enthusiastically.

It was a wonderful trip to select these songs, not necessarily the best or most important ones, but for me the ones that became my good friends on trips around the globe. Each track represents an attempt to share a personal and passionate journey I was taking into Disco music over more than a decade. Each one also represents a relationship with amazing people who followed and shared a similar path. 

Most of all the songs conjur up a wonderful time in my life when these songs made up the sound track to nights and days in small clubs, on boat parties, at festivals, on roof tops and in many other locations from Tokyo to Bangkok to Singapore to Sydney to Rio to Bogota to Monterey to LA to NYC to Madrid to Paris to London and to Dundee.

I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did making it.
And I hope you like the Disco Deviance x Gouranga tees as well."
