I am encouraged to publish another one inspired by the ferryman who takes souls to the underworld after dying...paying a coin.

The figure of the protagonist himself makes the music somewhat dark, an effect achieved with a synthesizer from the DRC app that I have not used many times.

The original idea came from the chorus of the music. I thought of an accordion to create it, but unfortunately I couldn't find a good sound for the iPad for this instrument, so I scrapped the idea and replaced it with a soft synthesizer with some depth.

My partner in adventures, on this occasion, did the rest with an impeccable job full of creativity and elegance.

Spoiled ( In A cats Mind )

When I discovered that I could make music with an iPad back in the distant Christmas of 2011, it was a shock that made me compose, to learn and develop ideas, almost 400 sketches and compositions in the first 5 years. The interesting thing is that, in addition, I found time to work, eat and sleep (Not much...) 😉.

One Christmas night of 2013-2014, when I had been composing for two years and the night of the Three Kings was approaching, which is a special holiday in Spain, and other countries, because the next day Christmas presents are given (It is a very special day for children) I was still so obsessed with the composition that I couldn't sleep. So I took my iPad, improvised, and in 5 hours I finished what you hear now. I tried to create an epic music that recalled the journey of the three Kings. I remember it was around 6:00 am when I went to bed.

It was my first orchestral composition without any electronic style and I post it here.

When I sent over a piece of this track in the early stages to see if it inspired Jaime to come up with her signature piano , she was all over it. I think all I had at that time was some of the main synth vibe and a bit of acoustic. She came back with some very cool dynamic sets for me to incorporate and a beautiful intro or outro piece that I decided to add in the start. I was going for something a bit dimensional on this instrumental and we had a lot of fun going back and forth with it as it developed.

There is a section with a flute in the 3rd act which is actually all Jaime as played on her piano and a midi flute model in its place which I just thought she would dig and it plays with her piano and the guitar.

As always we had a bunch of fun with this piece and I always love to do music with Jaime. We share a wavelength and when we do the music thing together it just seems to really flow together very easily, enjoyable and memorably :)
