It is a safe bet to say that the Londonian duo Krywald & Farrer (a.k.a. K&F) needs no introduction. The story began when Ed & Jack first casually met in the mystical little party hidden in the middle of the woods as they have been both Gottwood regulars since day one. In 2012, Percolate nightclub became the breeding ground for their fertile relationship as they officially decided to join forces there. Actually, those guys embody what going B2B quintessentially means or, in other words, the art of polymerizing two entities to bring a tastier and stronger one to life. As lifetime residents there, they have invariably been aiming to throw unpretentious parties where having fun defines the main focus, while keeping high-profile line-ups (Peach, Hunee, Midland or Leon Vynehall) all along the journey. When it comes to production and DJing, K&F feel free not to stick to one genre and tirelessly explore warm old afro, latin, jazz, disco and house grooves. Through their PERSIES, REPSIES and Top Pocket Records labels, they make it a point of honour to rework a selection of beloved gems from the past to unaffectedly turn them into contemporary and party-inclined tunes.

We are excited to be back in Australia, and we are exploring this time Adelaide in the South to meet the Polish-born golden boy who has been making a lot of waves across Europe in the past years: @subjoi. His musical journey actually began in 2016 when he started releasing his first tracks. Benefiting from the lo-fi rising trend, he had been living in the spotlight following the release of his two signature tracks "Love Shy" and "The Way I Feel", which respectively hit around 2M and 6M plays on the very respected house channels Slav and Houseum. Seemingly carving out his early career on an internet success, he has now excellently managed to translate it into tangible results. His current style magnificently blends melancholic house and dusty UK Garage, combined with deep and acid vibes. That uncommon take on dance music rapidly brought him release opportunities on high-profile record labels such as Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade or Dansu Discs. No wonder he has also already played along top-tier house djs like Demuja or Damiano von Erckert.

Perfectly cranking up the spring vibes with jams from Kerri Chandler, Floating Points or Tom VR, this mix is a beautiful symphony of high-tempo house and UK Garage, reminiscent of long nighclubbing sessions. Sit tight and enjoy your Sunday meal!

KiSk, Apparel Wax represents a ghost collective of worldwide masked house visionaries. Do not be mistaken; we are not talking about a label (unlike Apparel Music), but about a passion-driven project which gathers a strong international community of heavily talented producers. The idea behind anonymity is to make people deeply center in on the focal point: music, music and only music without any unwanted compromise or distinction. That uncorrelated relationship between artist and quality has been the mainstay of the brand success, putting the spotlight on the music material only. Their ever-renewing approach to house music, packed with disco and jazz infused jams proved ridiculously fruitful, as is evident from their 9 exquisite releases so far. If you want to catch them play live, expect the unexpected. They are always announced under the umbrella collective on the line-ups, all the more as depending on where the gig is located, the DJs who are playing will not be the same. Only the party attendants are entitled to know the secret.

Throughout this 1-hour mix, they are definitely living up to their reputation, delivering a delightful and high-quality selection of house tunes from Moodymann, Carl Craig or Omar S. This is the dose of virtuosity and boogieness you have been needed in your Sunday journey!

~ Jad & The [Germany] ~

Berlin-based fuzzy-haired Aussie Jad & The is one of the most consistent and prolific profiles out there when it comes to contemporary house music. He first started his career as a keyboardist in Brisbane indie dance band Mitzi before transitioning to solo producing and DJing. Standing out on his own two feet, he has been developing his signature sound somewhere between house grooves, electro sounds and disco-inspired cuts, consequently charming top labels like Toy Tonics, Axe On Wax or Exploited. In 2015, at the same time, he co-founded Beats of No Nation - both a weekly radio show (featuring heavyweight names such as Mall Grab, Folamour or CC:DISCO!) and a record label for like-minded artists - alongside techno producer Luen and former 1/4 of Mitzi Dom Bird. Two years later, his outstanding and tasty stomper track "Strings That Never Win" was rightfully named as one of Mixmag’s Tracks Of The Year (and we have honestly been playing this tune over 100 times at plastic/vibes). Now, it's no surprise to see him on the same lineups as house colossus like Chaos In The CBD, Ian Pooley or Todd Terje.

This set is a flawless and smooth house voyage compiling jams from Youandewan, Guy Contact, or Two Shiny Heads. Be ready to be taken into a state of deep inner peace as we hopefully break the crisis deadlock that surrounds us.
