KiSk, Apparel Wax represents a ghost collective of worldwide masked house visionaries. Do not be mistaken; we are not talking about a label (unlike Apparel Music), but about a passion-driven project which gathers a strong international community of heavily talented producers. The idea behind anonymity is to make people deeply center in on the focal point: music, music and only music without any unwanted compromise or distinction. That uncorrelated relationship between artist and quality has been the mainstay of the brand success, putting the spotlight on the music material only. Their ever-renewing approach to house music, packed with disco and jazz infused jams proved ridiculously fruitful, as is evident from their 9 exquisite releases so far. If you want to catch them play live, expect the unexpected. They are always announced under the umbrella collective on the line-ups, all the more as depending on where the gig is located, the DJs who are playing will not be the same. Only the party attendants are entitled to know the secret.

Throughout this 1-hour mix, they are definitely living up to their reputation, delivering a delightful and high-quality selection of house tunes from Moodymann, Carl Craig or Omar S. This is the dose of virtuosity and boogieness you have been needed in your Sunday journey!

Berlin-based fuzzy-haired Aussie Jad & The is one of the most consistent and prolific profiles out there when it comes to contemporary house music. He first started his career as a keyboardist in Brisbane indie dance band Mitzi before transitioning to solo producing and DJing. Standing out on his own two feet, he has been developing his signature sound somewhere between house grooves, electro sounds and disco-inspired cuts, consequently charming top labels like Toy Tonics, Axe On Wax or Exploited. In 2015, at the same time, he co-founded Beats of No Nation - both a weekly radio show (featuring heavyweight names such as Mall Grab, Folamour or CC:DISCO!) and a record label for like-minded artists - alongside techno producer Luen and former 1/4 of Mitzi Dom Bird. Two years later, his outstanding and tasty stomper track "Strings That Never Win" was rightfully named as one of Mixmag’s Tracks Of The Year (and we have honestly been playing this tune over 100 times at plastic/vibes). Now, it's no surprise to see him on the same lineups as house colossus like Chaos In The CBD, Ian Pooley or Todd Terje.

This set is a flawless and smooth house voyage compiling jams from Youandewan, Guy Contact, or Two Shiny Heads. Be ready to be taken into a state of deep inner peace as we hopefully break the crisis deadlock that surrounds us.

This week we welcome accomplished Italian producer Nico Lahs, aka  Nicola Loporchio.  Hailing from Bari(Italy)he has been releasing deep, classy house music and high-quality sounds for over a decade on the likes of Ovum, Poker Flat and Rawax to name a few.

2020 saw the producer ramp up his output after a five years hiatus during which he focused on his Cosmic Garden alias and started his label Cosmic Rhythm, releasing in May “Freedom”, an LP of smokey vintage house,via Detroit born/Beijing based Adeen Records, to then issue a 12-inch via Brooklyn’s Dailysession Records and finally cap off this stellar run with an EP, “Blow Your Mind”, on Dan Curtin’s Metamorphic Recordings.

This year Nico Lahs released “Got Me Coming Back” on Jimpster’s Delusions Of Grandeur and “Make Up - The Edits” which is a compilation of hand picked 70s & 80s 39s featuring hidden dance, funk and disco gems compiled by Chez Damier which have been retouched and edited himself.
