Hi and Welcome to ITALO MODERNI mixes

We discovered ''Le Chocolat Noir'' @yasssa some years ago when we had the pleasure to play his track ''Reason'' at first that track reminds us a lot of the 80's and we knew we had to perform some of his music on Italo Moderni. 
His vocal talent and his synthesizers focused on detuned with that mystical and underground touch, is the reason why he will be on the new Italo Moderni compilation, Modernation Vol.4, which will be released next August on Vinyl, Cassette and digital. 
We are very proud to have his talent and his passion for electronic music. Long life Yasmin!

Le Chocolat Noir bio:

LE CHOCOLAT NOIR aka LCN, un chevalier noir with releases on She Lost Kontrol, Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, Gooiland Elektro, Frigio, Kraftjerkz, Charlois and many more, is a model unrepresentative aiming for his utopian dream(s) since year 2000.

Jasmin Yas is a member of bRAVE collective from Zagreb and is a resident DJ of Ljubljana's Elektroliza series of events, with previous residency at Zagreb's Queer Festival. He is also releasing under alias Honored Matres, is a member of Florence Foster Fan Club with Zarkoff and is also producing/releasing music in the prolific collab with Christian Kroupa since 2021. For nearly ten years Jasmin Yas has been selecting and playing a wide range of music in his radio show Disco Panonia on The Hague based Internet radio Intergalactic FM.

Junto Club are four men from Glasgow who have remained friends since they were teenagers through creating music they love. Whilst learning new instruments during a long winter, their sound was fashioned unexpectedly with sporadic melodies overlaid on taut drum machines, synthesizers and bass guitar. Many humble dance moves followed as the band began to carouse behind closed doors with their newly-found rhythm.

This is the first track from our upcoming EP, recorded in the near-legendary Green Door studio, will be released on Optimo Music on June 15. Four tracks of highly original, impossible to pigeonhole, dancefloor-not-dancefloor music.

Do you ever wonder what it would sound like if you were suddenly plummeted into darkness? Aside from the initial shrieks of fear and sounds of manly men mocking those of us that may have got a wee bit too scared, what really goes on in the air around us when the lights go off? While we can never be entirely sure, we reckon it's the ghostly sounds of phantoms filling the air, carelessly ringing any bells that may be in their path as they float around the room in a state of determination - looking to scare the living daylights out of us.

It's not quite the same as just closing your eyes, a darkened room can instil a fear within us so strong that we may even freeze in our tracks and be unable to shift for about... Well, for just about the same length as this new track from Nova Materia. Coincidence? We think not.

Permanent Wave is the sound of darkest hour just before the dawn. It's a duo of Tronik Youth aka Neil Parnell and Justine - now both based in Berlin. A shadowy twin-peaks kind of sound is persistent throughout the whole release, and the remix by Iñigo Vontier only extends the already dark atmosphere to the basement dance-floor, inviting all the right people to join in! The release also includes another ace remix by a friend of Iñigo's - Thomass Jackson, and is out now on Teniente Castillo's Play Pal Music!

@JackWasFaster makes his debut for @FactorCity with four excellent dance-floor cuts that bridge the currents of slow-mo techno and cosmic disco, a perfect blend of darkness and light.

“Perro viejo” is a 12’ apocalyptic jam built around pulsating beats, an industrial atmosphere, and acid synths.  Italian duo @YoungerThanMe chose this track to remix, condensed it and added extra tension by adding synth stabs and vocal chops. Rave on!
