Hey Compadre was founded by Steve Ventura somewhere around 2009. Originally a solo project, the band only existed in concept until his eventual collaboration with Nate Wright and Britton Sloan. The two brought their own ideas to the table and the three began writing and recording original material. The line-up was completed by bringing in three young bloods in Izzy Yohn, Paul Sheppick and Mike Meketa. The six piece wrote and recorded the EP "Something Old, Something New" on April 26th 2013. Hey Compadre has performed for crowds across the greater Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia areas in venues such as The Altar Bar, Mr. Small's Theater, and The Rex Theater. The six piece is currently busy writing and performing across the tri-state area.
