This was one of my favorites from this round.  A really full sound without any parts getting lost.  I like the polymetric melody that floats along at the start and end of the track.

That kick and snare combo is very satisfying. Mix and design, very tight and punchy on my headphones

That floompy synth on the right is a very pleasant one.

The detail work and variety you throw in make this track stand out. Constantly interesting and engaging. The outro change-up adds icing to the cake. Great work.

I like the sound palette - and your production is very good, too!

I really love this section ... but not the melody insturment. Don't know why, just my gut feeling.

patches, especially the percussion stuff are excellent. Mix is well done. The composition at times a little repetitive still offers enough variety. It was a nice listen.

Synths: U-he Tyrell N6 (24) &  Zebralette 2 (2). Seventeen ( voice-split ) patches, from scratch as always , including six percs and four FX.  Assisted by TDR Nova ( general nip-and-tuck channelstrip duties ) , ReaDelay, HY-Delay , Bittersweet ( softening a delay, )  Kazrog KClip ( drumbus ) , and BlueArp

Reverb buses: MuVerb, Oril River, and Protoverb. Pre-emphasised, de-emphasised, shaped, compressed, softened and panned  by TDR Nova, Flux Bittersweet and HOFA SYS Pan. 

Shaped, sharpened, spatialized and louderized ( to -12 LUFS ) at the master level by TDR Nova, Flux Bittersweet, Protoverb, HOFA TiltEQ and  Limiter No6

Basically I was unable to take part in the Apricot round, so this was my chance. It's based around a 5 beat arpeggio I created with this synth. I thought I might use more of Odin 2, but ended up using it just for the snare.
This track is dedicated to my lovely Jenny who in spite of many current ailments managed to walk several miles of difficult coastal path to get the photo of a waterfall for my cover pic. :)

The VST legend. Still in beta (more than 20 years already). Lightweight, sleek and versatile. And I found it best for making extremely distorted sounds.
