We welcome Luis Damora for the 108th edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series.

Madrid-based Luis Damora is one of the most emblematic DJs and producers in the Spanish electronic music scene. From a young age, the magnetic allure of electronic music shaped his artistic journey from the very beginning, a passion ignited by his father’s vast vinyl collection. At 16, he took his first steps into DJing, and by the early 2000s, he became a defining figure behind the decks of Madrid’s most revered venues, including Circus, Danzoo, Fabrik and Space of Sound. His underground sensibilities, honed over years of dedication, led him to explore new musical horizons in Miami and London before returning to Spain with a deeply refined and personal sound.

A master of crafting immersive atmospheres, Luis gravitates towards Progressive House, seamlessly blending melodic textures with dynamic energy. His productions have found home on esteemed labels such as Sudbeat, Balance, Univack, Mango Alley, Armada, and Forensic, marking him as one of the most steadfast figures in the genre. His remix portfolio is equally impressive, featuring reworks for Fonarev, Chris Cargo, Second Sine, Fordal, and Wally Lopez, among others. Through his acclaimed podcast 'Asteroids', he continues to showcase forward-thinking sounds, offering a glimpse into his ever-evolving musical vision.

Whether captivating crowds at legendary venues like Fabric London, Pacha Barcelona, Space Ibiza, and Space Miami or delivering electrifying sets at festivals such as 4every1 in Spain and Park Festival, Luis curates journeys where emotion and rhythm merge seamlessly. For this exclusive mix, Luis has carefully selected tracks from artists who inspire him, including Hernán Cattáneo, GMJ & Matter, Subandrio, and Guy J, alongside unreleased IDs waiting to see the light of day.
