Pixeloid is the alter ego of Praveen Venugopal who began his journey when he found a calling towards the digital arts as a student of Information Technology at Griffith University in Australia. Upon realising the same he quickly channeled his interests to exploring and studying visual communication design and moved to New Delhi, where he attended college at the National Institute of Fashion & Technology, India. With a deeper understanding he found a strong connection between the visual arts and sonar vibrations of music. He was quick to learn the art of visual jockeying with a vision to craft unique audio visual experiences since 2005 as the world is always looking for different ways of viewing and appreciating their surroundings; music along with visuals helps one experience and perceive from within. In 2007, he attended a short course on Electronic Music Production from the SAE Institute in New Delhi. 

In 2008, he had founded Fusioncraft in Bahrain, to curate unique audio-visual experiences with some of the best Artist's, DJ's and Performers from both the local Underground and International Music Scene creating as well as working with some of the most memorable Event IP's ever witnessed in the region. During this time he has also attended and travelled across various Music Festivals in Europe which showed him a broader horizon of the global music festival culture.

In 2017,  life events made him move back to India where he works with various Events & Experiential Marketing agencies. However, he continues to explore his interests towards the digital arts. Since art has no boundaries, his path now has him experimenting and storytelling by expressing himself through electronic music .

Project Sketch is the deliciously inventive solo live act from Al Psymmetrix, its roots are in progressive trance but it touches many styles and influences bordering on electro,minimal and using sounds from many genres. Its prime mission is to rock the dancefloor. Being dancefloor orientated, project sketch creates an intense mind-washing wirlpool of sound that is electric and alive with passion. the basic idea is to try to reproduce that feeling of being dancing and lost in a bunch of sounds that go well together and produce a totally new sound, a style that keeps changing and flowing, ever-rising, hard and solid combined with fragile melody's, crushed drums and kicks that just keep coming. Project Sketch is the UK sound of squat prog,,,,,music with soul and attitude.,,,,and chickens
