DJ Koncept is an award-winning turntablist, producer, and DJ whose artistry bridges the golden-era skills of scratch culture with the deep, immersive soundscapes of atmospheric drum & bass. Hailing from Bangor, Northern Ireland, Koncept has built a reputation as both a fierce competitor and a thoughtful composer, with a career spanning club sets, competition stages, and studio releases.

A dominant figure in battle DJing, Koncept holds titles including UK & Ireland IDA Scratch Champion and UK DMC Supremacy Champion (2018), cementing his status among the elite in technical turntablism. His battle routines are marked by razor-sharp precision, musicality, and a fearless integration of DnB elements into traditionally hip hop-driven formats.

In the studio, Koncept crafts atmospheric drum & bass infused with emotional depth and meticulous attention to detail. Releases such as THE HUMANISM EP (Silent Force Recordings, 2024) and Distant Traveller (2024) showcase his ability to merge cinematic textures with rolling breakbeats. His 2025 single “Atmospheric 170” reimagines his earlier Atmospheric 153 with heightened energy, earning praise from respected figures like LTJ Bukem.

Beyond production, Koncept is an active selector on the global DnB circuit, delivering mixes for platforms like Jungletrain and Kniteforce Radio, and performing at international events including Sun & Bass in Sardinia.
