Alixir is a Denver based DJ who is definitively married to a deep and tech house sound. This union has a produced a beautiful lovechild of funk, soul, and disco rolling rhythms that pull the listener through seamless and energetic transitions. His sets adventure into the colorful and varied landscape of impassioned bluesy guitar riffs, r&b melodies, 70's horns, lilting female vocals, and 90's hip hop. Sometimes sexy and other times rowdy, these progressions are continuously supported by a palpably danceable house beat backbone. Ingrained with a love for tech house, his sound is coupled with mechanical imprints with driving grooves to keep your mind and body moving to the liquid vibrations.
