Forged in the industrial pulse of London’s underground and steeped in the chaos of a genre forever pushing its own limits, youvizion!—born Reyden Hicks—emerged in mid-2024 as one of the most volatile new forces in dubstep. With a sonic identity as brazen as his stylized moniker, youvizion! isn’t just making tracks—he’s igniting anthems of destruction and transcendence that ripple through the community like seismic waves.

Raised in the city's ever-mutating electronic undercurrent, Hicks first gravitated toward dubstep for its abrasive textures, monolithic drops, and cathartic energy. Inspired equally by early UK sound system culture and the digital chaos of post-internet aesthetics, he began producing with a fiercely DIY ethos. August 2024 marked the beginning of his ascent, when he released a string of SoundCloud one-offs that hinted at something darker and more unhinged than most of his peers were ready for.

That promise detonated into full realization with the release of his debut EP, KARNAGE 2025!, a brutalist 3-track offering that solidified his vision: future-leaning, rhythmically fractured, and emotionally guttural. The opening track, “SPECTRAL JUDGEMENT!,” roars with demonic vocal chops and stuttered low-end that feels like an exorcism in 140 BPM. “BLOODSTAINED LOVELETTER!,” perhaps his most personal cut, juxtaposes melancholic pads with punishing sub-bass, crafting a narrative of heartbreak told through distortion. But it was his riddim-flavored rework of YFU BABY’s “NTR” that turned heads globally—a remix that transforms the original into a bone-rattling beast, full of glitching snares and broken-glass synths that seem to bleed from the speakers.

Still early in his evolution, youvizion! stands at the edge of dubstep’s next rupture—unapologetically loud, relentlessly experimental, and already influencing a new wave of chaos-bringers in his wake. As 2025 unfolds, he’s not just building a discography—he’s building a world. One drop at a time.
