One Day

J DON is an Artist from Upstate, New York who's roots branch from starting music at a young age learning various instruments and playing in multiple metal bands.  Fast forward a few years and he started to produce hip hop beats and DJ.  As time past he built up a arsenal of beats but couldn't find the voice to complete the sound he was looking for.  He took destiny into his own hands and worked on poetry and vocabulary to develope a unique sound displayed in his music currently.  

Alongside COMP3 , another local producer in the 518; they started a label known as 9rospect and are currently building a roster and planning to release many different artists.  

In 2019 he hired manager Tyler Star to help organize and structure workflow as well as open doors for the young star to record his debut EP at Loft Sound Studios in Long Island managed by Donnie Klang from 'Making the Band 4' who in his time has worked with producers like P Diddy and sign a solo deal with Bad Boy Records.

The 'Best Kept Secret' EP is the first project J DON has released and has plans to release a single January 31 2020 produced by MobBeatz (HOT 99.1 Producer of the Year for 2019). 

Other producers he has worked with include Mr. Theory and B Chaps.
