BIO
With over twenty years of experience, Nicola Magalotti is a DJ and producer known for blending deep, afro and tech house with a refined and distinctive approach. Active since the ’90s, he shaped his musical identity between Italy, London and Mexico, standing out for his vinyl sets and eclectic style.
CAREER
Since 2003 he has collaborated with The End and the renowned Clandestino party.
From 2004 to 2008 he was the resident DJ of “The Players” at Aka Bar.
He has performed in London’s iconic clubs including Turnmills, Egg, The Key, Movida, The Cross, and internationally at Blue Parrot and Om in Mexico.
Between 2005 and 2007 he studied Sound Engineering at SAE Institute (London).
From 2020 to 2022 he was resident DJ at Tuscany Bay (Argentario) and hosted a radio show on Ibiza Live Radio and Ibiza Stardust Radio.
Two new EPs produced with English and Spanish artists are expected in 2025.

Growing up in Switzerland, Andy, aka Lazy Marf, was captivated by the hip-hop movement of the ‘90s. Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s music, which he first heard on the radio, had a profound impact on him, inspiring him to start making his own beats and writing lyrics. It became clear that music was his true form of expression.
In the early 2000s Madlib and J Dilla’s music introduced him to a new way of production. Lyrics were not anymore necessary, He could focus on composition and sound design in order to spread his feelings.
His passion for instrumentals deepened, and when he discovered Flying Lotus and the Brainfeeder scene, his vision expanded. He started following everything was gravitating around the Low End Theory and therefore experimenting with new sounds in order to find his style.

Since then, his beats have blended Hip Hop, Bass, Future Beatz, Synthwave, ‘80s tunes, and ‘90s dance music. While he still struggles to define his style, it undeniably reflects his diverse experiences.

In recent years, Lazy Marf has released music through several labels, including Filthy Fingers United, Space Rules, and Alchemy Union, and has collaborated with various artists. A major turning point came in February 2019 when he won the 12th Beat Cinema Beat Battle. Seizing the opportunity, he moved to LA, where he worked with top artists and performed at numerous events across California.
