About this edit :
In the mid 90s when I was 16 years old, a home tape recorded with music by Wu Tang Clan came into my life, from that moment on this sound with breaks, soul, jazz, funk, hiphop revolutionized my way of appreciating music.
Today, thanks to slow sounds, I find the opportunity to integrate and share this tribute to what has been the music of the future.
Special thanks to the @Cosmovision family for opening the door to this little gift.

The song “African woman” from the album “Firin ́in Fouta” (1994) by artist Baaba Maal, inspired us to make a remix by essence of African salsa mixed and perennial in time. A jewel rescued to be returned to the ears of listeners with taste of the best World Music.

Resistencia Amazonica was born at the end of 2017 with the need to visualize not only the musician, dj, producer and other musical artists who move in minority areas and who resist record industries and mass successes by making an artisanal product designed to survive in time and before the concealment of fast consumer music products. This project is headed by two music lovers and activists: @bobmarius (Dj, producer and Selector) and Enzo Tibi (Sound Engineer and producer) and nurtured by musicians and graphic artists. We are present to resist, to create, to continue fighting against perversion of the industry... We are many in the shadows and well connected to each other... Music should never die.

'' Passionate about travel, music and cultures of the world, especially African and South American, I discovered this original in 2017 when it was released.
This edit is a tribute to the Afro-Brazilian culture in which I spent 3 years of my life, including 5 months in Sao Paulo in 2013. I found the original by chance in my playlist, it gave me smile and joy. During these 2 months of confinement, I started playing the guitar again and replay some pieces of my adolescence.
I missed this relationship with the instrument and reminded me of my beginnings of passion for music and creative freedom.
