About this edit :
In the mid 90s when I was 16 years old, a home tape recorded with music by Wu Tang Clan came into my life, from that moment on this sound with breaks, soul, jazz, funk, hiphop revolutionized my way of appreciating music.
Today, thanks to slow sounds, I find the opportunity to integrate and share this tribute to what has been the music of the future.
Special thanks to the @Cosmovision family for opening the door to this little gift.

After a decade-long career spanning numerous releases, awards, and accolades, Paul van Dyk, a prolific artist in Trance and icon of dance culture, is set to return with his 11th album and world tour. The highly anticipated “This World Is Ours” is set to release in March 2025 (date TBC) alongside electronic duo FUENKA. Entre-temps traces a quiet arc between past and present. A moment suspended in the in-between. Born from long sessions in winter rooms and riverside solitude, the tracks mirror each other like siblings, growing side by side, shaped by shared silence and shifting light.

A quiet search unfolds to become an endless chase. Just a steady surrender to sound, to repetition, to moments of clarity softened by waves of doubt. At times, a strange sense of déjà-vu lingers, a gentle murmur of something once felt, just out of reach. In the balance between motion and stillness, between echo and origin, something like refuge begins to take shape.

Legendary George Michael passed on to the next life, sadly, on Christmas Day. I was never really a "die hard" fan, but his song "Faith" was definitely one of my favorites, and I played it countless times back in the days. I made this remix as a tribute to him, on a 5 hour flight to Mexico, before my New Year's Eve gig in Tulum. I played it everywhere I could for 3 weeks, and the response was amazing. 

2016 was a heavy year for losing so many musical legends, while at the same time, it was personally my best year to date. I'm eternally grateful for all the love and support I received, and wanted to show my appreciation. 

This remix is for all of YOU out there who have supported me over the years, and especially to those who have been supporting Sol Selectas Records. For now it is FREE. Thank You again, and best wishes for 2017. ~ Sabo
