Sensorium – Mojo Filter


 Following on from the debut cult classic ESCAPE AID, SENSORIUM is a continuation of the MOJO FILTER vision quest. Merging the senses and traversing the human experience through the medium of dance, this second album seeks to alchemise the listener’s tools of perception in the crucible of the dance floor. Whilst guiding the initiate through the landscape of their inner-terrain the story jaunts and jolts, writhes, rises and revives a sense of exploration and wonderment for the great mystery.

 The opening track ‘WILD EYES’ harks to a golden age of free love and festival culture before launching into the kaleidoscopic jet-stream of ‘INNER DAZE’. From these dizzying heights of acid-drenched bliss the journey spirals into the looming and desolate ‘QUAGMIRE’ of darkness and shadow. It is not until ‘STRANGE BEAUTIFUL’ that the adventure bristles with rainbow rays of hope and revelation once more as a ‘NEW WORLD (in her view)’ comes sharply into focus. This mechanized mutant impulsively drives us out of the sprawling metropolis into the wide open where new lands and new life awaits.
 From here ‘THE SPIRITUALIST’ revives and reminds us of our ancestral origins reconnecting our modern yet fractured soul to the wonder and source of life. ‘THE TEMPLE OF LIGHT’ proceeds to open it’s doors to those willing to enter and hear the instruments of universe play the symphony of existence. It all seems so ‘FAR FROM THE TREE’ by this time but with a rekindled ability to make sense from non-sense we jig forth with a smile towards new frontiers...
 ‘WATT THE FUCK’ brings humour and wisdom to the dance with it’s quick witted groove and childlike wonder that toys and tantalizes expectations until the youth must mature and ask ‘What’s A Human To Do?’ This nostalgic futurist foire remarks on the corrupt ambitions we once pursued and seeks to remedy emptiness with acceptance and renewed trajectory. 
 Only with ‘GENESIS’ can the soul finally transcend into it’s rightful 5th dimensional being amid the stars as a sentinel of light circling the euphoric ‘ORBITAL PLANE’ of cosmological consciousness.
