The My Definition of Chill series, which has always been the purest public expression of my taste in music, has exceeded all expectations I ever had for it. What began as a playlist of songs I liked to listen to at the end of the night has evolved into a soundtrack of my life. The reaction from those who have let me know how this series has been a part of their lives has touched me deeply and I appreciate every story and word of thanks I have received. Thank you for sharing and letting me be a part of your life.  

The inspiration for Vol. 7 Brazil started out as a series of unintentionally ignored emails and eventually came around to the formation of a new friendship, an incredible journey to Brazil, and what I hope will be a long term musical partnership based on a love of similar music and now this mix. 

I have to thank my good friends Ricardo and Fred from the Peninsula Beach Club Hotel in Bahia, Brazil for having the vision to bring me in as resident DJ for the New Years holiday and for sharing with me their slice of paradise. It was truly a pleasure to play for a group of amazingly beautiful and friendly Brazilians and the vibe continues to inspire me.

Agent K, a leading producer in the breakbeat scene, has been in business since 1996 - not for anything but love for the music. This international breakbeat producer has worked with and for internationally recognized labels and has owned Digital Records along side Bella Bass (Natalie Rockefeller Lane) since 2007. 
Based on the concept of "breakbeat," but constantly evolving and not limiting himself to any particular sound has earned him several #1 original tracks, remixes and mixed compilations.

The U.K's leading underground dance festival NOISILY has revealed the birth of something truly magical. A new stage called THE NOOK will play host to the deeper, more shamanic and effeminate side of open air dance music.

Humbly curated by master practitioner Mojo Filter, the stage will bring together a myriad of otherwordly DJ's and sounds to evoke ritual and vision to all those whom enter there.

A place where dj's can play for endless hours exploring their vibe-drenched B-Sides whilst navigating the uncharted realms of their own psyche.

A Deep Fondue...

The newcomer in Multicultural Electronica / Organic House / Downtempo scene, he debuts with original song “Buvayte Zdorove” at “Buddha Bar XXII” compilation by DJ Ravin in 2020.
First EP “Matala” was released soon by one of the biggest labels in the genre – “Pipe & Pochet” from Santa Monica, California.
Remixing the track by “NHII – The Secret Drums of Bwiti”, released from American “Cosmic Awakenings”, Turu was able to reach the top 20 in Electronica / Downtempo chart by “Beatport”.
Upcoming tune “Turu Anasi – “Meditation” was included in a series of podcasts by “Goldcap” from Los Angeles in “Lemurian” guest mix.
Meanwhile, uniting with “Wagashi Brothers” Anasi created a series of events in his hometown Dnipro, called “Carpet Pattern Club”, which shares the love to multicultural music & ethno culture in Ukraine.
