Awells is a singer and songwriter from Sacramento, California. He started his career by releasing his DIY music independently without a label or a co-sign in the late 2010s, performing shows all over northern California. He now writes, produces, and mixes his music to achieve his unique alt-R&B & hip-hop sound.





His style is often compared to Frank Ocean and Kid Cudi, but Awells deserves recognition as a standalone artist. His chill vibes are a perfect backdrop for a daydream or sunset, with melodic and introspective lyrics creating a strong and personal connection with his audience.
