Helicopters HD Pro contains 76 helicopter sounds in over 6GB of crazy blade rotating flight. All of the sounds from Helicopters HD Mini are included. The helicopters in this set are from hanging out at the local airport (I try and bring doughnuts for the guys every time I show up), from random fly-bys over the house and when out on location recording other material. Some are from airshows in the area and others are from arranged recording sessions which I was able to get up close and personal with the machines. As a special bonus, a few  select UH-60A Blackhawk sounds are included. These files are from a session recorded for a larger Blackhawk sound library to be released at a leter date.

There are eleven helicopter models in this collection. These include a Kaman K-1200 “K-Max” Heavy Lift Helicopter, Aerospatiale AS350B2, AgustaWestland 119Kx “Koala”, Eurocopter AS350 B3, Eurocopter EC120, Bell UH-1H “Huey”, Bell 212 Twin "Huey" and a tiny little Schweizer 269C.

UPDATE: August 14, 2016 - 30 brand new helicopter sounds added including a Bell UH-1V Iroquois, Boeing CH-47-D Chinook, Bell 407, Agustawestland AW119-Kx and Eurocopter EC120. Bonus: Sikorsky UH-60A Blackhawk.

There are close, medium and distant fly bys along with a engine starts, shut downs and pre-flight hovering. The helicopters in this collection were recorded arriving and departing the airport and performing routine FAA re-certification maneuvers.

Helicopters One HD Pro

Presenting Luxury Jets HD Professional Sound Effects Library. This massive collection of private jet sounds from 20 aircraft models will blow your mind. Mostly recorded over a two month period at a very quiet airport these sounds offer a rare glimpse into the "very expensive to operate" world of private luxury aircraft. Extremely close up turbofan engine starts, ground taxi bys, arrival engine shut downs, sky ripping pass bys, roaring take offs and much more are included. Interior sounds from some of the jets while they are waiting for passengers to arrive and cockpit warning commands are also included. A airport tug vehicle was recorded unloading a jet and the motorized folding staircase and door from a large private jet are among the many other types of plane sounds.

Luxury Jets HD Pro

Presenting: The Huey HD Professional Sound FX Library. During the summer of 2016 I was granted access to a 1964 Bell UH-1H helicopter while it was being tested and tweaked for flight after a lengthy inspection and reconditioning. The company that owns the Bell UH-1H "Huey" allowed me to place microphones in and around it during ground tests and be present while it was test flown. The results are in this sound effects collection.

The Huey HD Professional Sound Effects Library is a 24-bit/96kHz, multi-microphone collection of sounds from a 1964 Bell UH-1H helicopter that has been reconditioned and converted for civilian use. This one of a kind set of sound effects features multiple ground and flight tests recorded in a exceptionally quiet environment at the local airport. The Bell UH-1 or better known as HUEY is by far the toughest, most bad ass helicopter in the world.

The Huey HD Pro

Presenting: The Hawk. One of the helicopters I've enjoyed recording the most is the Sikorsky UH-60A Blackhawk Helicopter. The machine is a reconditioned rotorcraft from military surplus and is the real deal. It has been updated and modified to be used as a heavy lift helicopter but it still has the traditional sound of the original military hardware.

I was granted exclusive access to the very expensive helicopter to record multiple track and balance tests at full throttle on the ground and in flight. I used a Schoeps MK4-MK8 M/S for the medium distant perspectives and was hand held so I could be mobile. I set a Sennheiser MKH-8040ST XY microphone close up and then medium close during the test starts and power down sequences. I set up my AT-835ST far away in the grass field next to the runway. I also set a Sony PCM D-100 and MKH-8040ST ORTF inside the Blackhawk for the interior perspectives. On other occasions I used a Sony PCM D1 for some distant perspectives and set the PCM D-100 outside the helicopter at a medium distance on the ground.

The helicopter was recorded on many different occasions and in a few locations. At times the Hawk was in a wide open field and other times it was in close proximity to buildings. There is very broad selection of perspectives and performances you can draw upon for sound design. I used the MKH-8040ST XY microphone on a boom pole for some of the pass bys and start ups and other times I used the Schoeps MK4-MK8 M/S microphone set.

The last time I was able to record the Hawk it was making a quick trip to the portable refueling station just across the street. I set up the MKH-8040ST XY and ORTF rigs at the take off location and I waited with the Schoeps M/S rig across the street at the airfield and recorded it flying in and setting down. While it was refueling and having a minor glitch repaired I drove back to get the MKH-8040ST microphone rigs and then placed them at the refueling area for the Hawk leaving. There was also a Sony PCM D-100 lurking around out there in the distance.
