La meilleure manière de s’imaginer la musique de Max Caz c’est de se demander ce que donneraient des vacances en compagnie d’un duo improbable formé par Thom Yorke et Alain Souchon.
C’est au hasard d’une discussion avec Jean Aubertin, un ami, qui lui propose un de ses textes, que Max se retrouve à composer sur du français.

Entre le texte et la musicalité de la langue, ce fut comme une petite révélation. Grâce à une écriture juste et simple qui touche l’âme, ce sont tous les artistes enfouis dans ses souvenirs d'enfance qui remontent à la surface (Souchon, Bashung, Daho...).

Les paroles et la musique fusionnent dans une rare harmonie car elles naissent d’une même intention : trouver l’image, la note, le mot ou la phrase qui vont faire surgir des émotions que chacun avait un peu perdues au fond de lui et qui ont le pouvoir de rendre heureux avec un zeste de mélancolie.
