Commissioned by Nolan Sheridan, who wanted a Series 6 styled theme for Duck. I don't do a lot of S6-7 stuff but they are rather interesting to work with sometimes, definitely a more classical approach during this era of the show's music. 


Around this time, a lot of the signature themes became a lot more 'smooth' and let the strings and woodwinds provide the rhythm compare to let's say Series 1-4 which still liked to use cabasas to emulate pistons or kick drums to add a punch. While not as appreciated as the shows earlier music, this style of music fits the Gullane era tone perfectly.

Duck the Great Western Engine's Theme (Series 6 Remix)

A big remaster of the old Gordon remix I did years back, this time I decided to make a 'S3' styled mix, using both the synth and 'orchestra' kits. 

This is one episode that would have been epic to see in the show, I wonder if they really would've made a Kings Cross set (with a platform 9 3/4 in the back even though Harry Potter wasn't a thing then but let me dream).

Overture to Season 2

It's honestly been a very long time since I've done a rendition of Gordon's theme, so I decided to put this together. Decided to make it of a slightly slower paced version that would fit when he's pulling goods trains instead of the express, hence the name. Not really all that much to say except that this was pretty fun to put together and I'm really pleased with how this one turned out a lot. Enjoy. :)

Hey everyone! This one's out of the oven and full of lovin': Duck's Theme! Ever since the reveal for the new Thomas Trackmaster stuff Mattel is releasing later this year, I could never get over how hyped I was seeing Duck. So, I decided to tackle a season 5 cover of his theme. This is already sorta inspired by AceofTrains' from a while back regarding tonal harmonies, but I wanted to change up a bit of the instrumentation to make mine original. I really enjoyed how this turned out, and I hope 'yall do as well! Be on the lookout for more tracks real soon...
