We asked The Reflex a while back if he would consider making a bespoke mixtape for us. At the time he mentioned he was considering a psy-rock theme...we had no idea that this mixtape would coincide with his own 'Rock Edition' release, which has now been released. A fantastic mixtape from a modern day legend...three cheers for The Reflex!

Launched in 2010, THE REFLEX is a project from producer / DJ Nicolas Laugier, a French national based in the UK since 1998. Following on the footsteps of remix / DJ edit pioneers Larry Levan, Shep Pettibone, François Kevorkian or John Luongo, The Reflex somewhat redefined the remix rules book by using stems and multitracks to craft fresh, innovative versions (dubbed ’revisions’) from classics tracks and artists, genre-hopping through the decades and styles with ease, combining creativity and functionality with often spectacular results.
