Marley's music had an immense impact on me as a youth and still resonates today Like many, he was my first introduction to reggae and since my first listen back in the 70s and 80s to now, his music does and will continue to stand the test of time and impact generations of fans and musicians alike for  the high quality of song writing and his message of harmony and peace..

We are very excited to share this cover of Last Nite.  We have been massive Strokes fans over the years, so we are doing our best to honour this amazing band and song.  Toronto singer/songwriter Craig Stickland is singing on the track.  The first single from the Natural Animal debut album will be hitting the interwebz very shortly.  Album material has been a long time coming, so we are happy to start letting you guys listen in on what we’ve been up to.  But for now, enjoy the cover :)

A unique blend of dance music history and futurist styles. Dave Aju started out as an alias for a San Francisco experimental techno night in the early oughties. Fatboy Slim - Lockdown Mixtape (Week 9)

Compiling tracks for the 4th in my Rave Kid series got me thinking about what separates these from the beardier Evolution of Hardcore proto-D&B mixes, and as I scanned over a handful of my fave Sy and Slipmatt tapes from '93 the answer was crystal clear: great big huge blatant samples, rave riffs, breakbeats with stomping kickdrums, acid lines and the odd chipmunk. Mixed it up with a bit of darkside/jungle techno of course, but it's the cheerfully stomping exuberance of Wishdokta et al that's central to the vibe here. Anyway, I shan't dissect this too much, just pop it on nice and loud and enjoy the weekend yeah? L8rzzzz X

Launched in 2010, THE REFLEX is a project from producer / DJ Nicolas Laugier, a French national based in the UK since 1998. Following on the footsteps of remix / DJ edit pioneers Larry Levan, Shep Pettibone, François Kevorkian or John Luongo, The Reflex somewhat redefined the remix rules book by using stems and multitracks to craft fresh, innovative versions (dubbed ’revisions’) from classics tracks and artists, genre-hopping through the decades and styles with ease, combining creativity and functionality with often spectacular results.
