Tyler Morgan, a frequent attendee of Park Ave had this to say about the set, "I really enjoyed the selection and all, but mostly I was just trying to watch Edge of Tomorrow in living room next door and by the end of it I really needed him to turn it down."

We also caught up with Augustus who was so excited he actually pissed all over the floor...Augustus is a Norwich Terrier.

Drew Wyman, who made the bold choice of picking the bedroom above the venue is contemplating moving off the premises.

Australian duo Close Counters return to The Remedy Project for their soulful slice ‘BUTTER BREAD’, featuring Irish singer-songwriter shiv. Fusing broken beat, jazz and neo-soul with electronic production, Close Counters’ eclectic sound first appeared on Melvo Baptiste’s revered imprint in 2022, with singles ‘SNAP TO IT!’ and ‘GET DOWN!’ earning them support from key tastemakers Gilles Peterson, Jamz Supernova and artists like Folamour, Barry Can’t Swim, Jaguar. A live act at heart, the band have made a name for themselves in the UK and Europe, recently touring across venues like Ninety One Living Room and Ronnie Scott’s as well as tastemaker festivals like Lost Village and Defected Malta; the band’s return to the UK will see them perform live at Brick Lane Jazz Festival, Love Supreme, Glastonbury and a slew of live dates across summer 2025, with their latest LP LOVERS DANCE ACADEMY climbing tastemaker charts in their home country and receiving major radio play across the UK and US. Satin Jackets’ gorgeous electronic pop song ‘Feel Good’ gets a single release, backed by remixes from the likes of  Cavego, Keljet and In Limbo.

‘Feel Good’ is a reimagination of the duo’s hit track ‘You Make Me Feel Good’ and features LA four-piece Scavenger Hunt on vocals. It retains all of the gloriously bowled over sentiment of the original but with some of the extra polish Satin Jackets have picked up since that track was originally released. Jill Lamoureux (Scavenger Hunt) says of their new vocal contribution: “We instantly connected with ‘Feel Good’ and wanted to breathe new life into this brilliant track, by giving it a voice, a narrative. ‘Feel Good’ feels like jumping into a cool pool on a hot summer day - refreshing, exhilarating and sexy.” 

Delivering the first remix is Norwegian Cavego (aka Even Gillebo). Seen as a champion of the nu disco sound, he has conjured up a glossier, more funky version of an already smooth disco gem. At the forefront of Dutch indie dance is Keljet. Their remix adds an extra layer of sparkle for optimum dancefloor effectiveness. Finally, In Limbo slows things down by creating an appropriately mysterious and enchanting remix.

‘Feel Good’ is taken from the much-lauded Satin Jackets debut album ‘Panorama Pacifico’. In their 8/10 review, Mixmag perfectly described it as “a collection of love songs perfect for the dancefloor, lounging around the poolside, or both”.
