 Tossed an old piano/violin piece in there, pulled some knobs and pressed some levers (figuratively), and now
it sounds like this wistful cosmic Buckyball church organ. Gonna see about using this as a base track for something more substantial.

My name is Jesse, my saturn return started three days ago so very excited to lean into the Virgo energy, it all seems auspicious in a way. I'd been doing a lot of work around meditation prior to this whole business so I thought I'd share one I've been using daily for the last few months. I've spent much of my quarantine sneaking into state land to quietly farm with my podmate & doubling my house plant population. Stoked to be sharing this vulnerable moment with y'all, honestly!

Hi everyone. I'm Christine. I live in Brooklyn, NY with my partner and 3 cats who are very confused about why I'm home all the time now (the cats I mean. the partner gets it... I think/hope...). I don't do well with a lot of what I tend to describe as "inputs", so the last few weeks have been, let 's say, challenging. This is a version of a meditation that I have been trying to do a lot these days. I hope that it supports you and gives you something that you need. <3

Hello! My name is Emily Hope Price. I just mostly feel like an alien, so you can refer to me however you wish. I don’t really mind. I live with Emilyn in some world in a big house in New York City. I play and sing and write music - mostly on the cello. I think I would like to have a house (that maybe was formerly a non-haunted church or farm) in the woods (while also somehow being near the ocean) where I can rescue enormous dogs or other strange animals. They can hug you back, you know! Here is my mediation for us. I really enjoy sounds so much - and I realized how focusing on sounds we may not hear help us to be present. There are layers and layers of sound we can’t even hear. Just when you think you know everything, something shifts and you hear something new. Lots of love,EHP

Hi!

 My name is Mer. I make music and write and edit and am generally known for wailing my head off. Right now I'm hunkered down in the woodsy boonies of a coastal township in Southern California with my elderly parents.

Generally, I can be a grouchy, neurotic pain inna toot! However, there’s a kinder, gentler modality of Mer who sometimes shows up to make things right, to smoothe things over, and calm shit the fuck down. Her name is Edith Heck. 

Today, Edith is offering you a guided meditation with the enthusiastic participation of a bunch of froggies and bugs n birds n things. At the end of the verbal portion, the frogs, recorded by a creek just down the road last week, and other nature elements, will go on singing for you for a little while, minus narration, just in case you want to stick around in a  deep green place for a few more moments.

I hope you enjoy wandering through this lively, spring equinox-inspired soundscape! 

It was a delight to make, and it feels good to be here with all of you.

I'm Anna (Pisces sun, Taurus moon, Aquarius rising) and sending you lots of love and light from Chicago, where I live with my 2 year old, fella, and a 15-week-old-baby-in-my-belly. This is an expanded version of an exercise I do with my voice students, visualizing and focusing on diaphragmatic breathing. I hope it serves you well today!

Anna’s Saturday Meditation

Hi friends, I’m Hannah. I’m a New Yorker, I suppose... now seventeen years! I’m in love with big cities, and traveling the world. But a part of my heart belongs to small, wild places. Born in the tiniest prairie town, raised in mountain log cabins and midwestern farms. No electricity, tv, and zero pop culture- and some formative years in an Amish-like group. I love that simplicity, and also diversity, complexity— and I try to embrace the tensions between. I’m still awed at how wild and weird it’s all been, but I think this explains some of who I am / what I make. This is one of my first attempts at guided meditation. It’s messy, and wacky, but I did it with love.
