Remembrance Soundscapes is the music only version of the transformational album and guide for embodiment, Remembrance. A one of a kind collaboration between five artists, including Vylana, Aubrey Marcus, Poranguí, Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom), and Eric Zang.  Remembrance Soundscapes presents these powerful offerings in their purely musical form for listeners to experience without any guidance.  With five transformational soundtracks, this album serves as a guide to support the awakening of humanity to the sacred instrument of the human body. Through the technology of ancient and modern sound design and resonant intentionality, the listener embarks on a journey through various states of consciousness to meet themselves at a deeper level. By moving energy through breath, dance, and meditation, the listener may better remember their purpose— empowering them to be of greater service, for the good of all. 

The concept of the Remembrance albums and the creation of the band, For the Good of All, is the fruition of a prayer planted as a seed over a decade past. Poranguí knew then that music would be created with Aubrey’s spoken word poetry.  Stepping into the sacred role as producer, Poranguí called in some of his favorite collaborators: Amani Friend of Liquid Bloom, whose extensive experience producing electronic music graces the album, and Eric Zang, a masterful multi-instrumentalist and mixing engineer who along with Vylana Marcus’s celestial vocals helped finish this all-star ensemble.   Special featured artists include East Forest on piano and Indrajit Roy-Chowdhury on sitar to complement this rich sonic journey. 

The Soundscapes version of the album offers a lush musical bed for listeners, inspired by many cultures, including musical influence from Vylana’s Ploynisian heritage as well as the Hindu tradition’s use of prayer, breath, dance, meditation, and service. The track titles have been named in honor of these ancient traditions. These embodiment practices are inherent to us all and by going on this journey, the listener can be in clear Remembrance, For the Good of All.

Remembrance Soundscapes

LIE DOWN somewhere comfortable with HEADPHONES at medium volume and take some deep breaths to drop into your body and take a read of the INTENTION of this session below before you hit play.

This Super Moon set is recorded in a sacred community temple site in Cairo after an evening at a local event near the pyramids in Giza and was inspired to act as a cleaning and balancing of ancestral energy, particularly in the line of the masculine. I draw on the moons Aquarius energy of revolution, liberation, progression and rebirth to place a very strong intention of releasing, grounding, deep centre embodiment and reconnection to the womb. The base bowl of this session is set to the frequency of the moon.

The session is entirely using metal instruments. It is designed to shake off any remnants of what no longer serves from ancestral & cultural conditioning, and bring us back to a deep connection with our core.

This Full Moon also marks the final day of the Lion's Gate Portal. 

Sonic Alchemy is a frequency transmission from Sacred Sites and During Astrological Portals using Sound Healing instruments and vocals & light language. The intention is to cultivate energy specific to the site/portal and allow messages and codes to come through for the listener as their mind & body go into a deep state of relaxation and receivership.

This Full Moon takes place in Aquarius, the sign of the Water Bearer. It is a fixed air sign that governs the 11th house of hopes, dreams, good fortune, collective contribution, friends and network. It encourages us to respect and honour individuality whilst also remaining connected deeply to the path of service and collective good. Aquarius, ruled by Uranus and Saturn, is known for being a wildly progressive and rebellious revolutionary.

Working with these natural rhythms and cycles, you are invited to look back where you were 6 months ago in early February. Reflect on what you were working on, desiring, and the lessons you have learned on that journey. Insights lie on reflection of this cycle.

This energy is specifically potent for breaking cycles, breaking free, liberation. The Full Moon is creating the friction that we all need in order to move forward with greater alignment, particularly in the realm of systems and structures.

This is a great time to affirm to yourself that you are already liberated and you are the revolutionary of your own life. Now is a great chance to take stock and get real about where you have been playing small & conforming, and where you can reclaim your sovereign power and step into your full individual expression.

II: Ephemére is designed to take you deep into a sonic meditation experience, a full-spectrum sound journey composed at 432hz. I highly suggest, especially for the first listen, that you play this hi-rez audio file on some quality speakers with a subwoofer, or on really good headphones, to capture the full experience. Close your eyes and dive deep.

I infused this Episode with deep springtime and effervescent sounds, inspired by the Full Flower Moon, whose energy is present with us during the month of May. I recorded violin, vocals, and incorporated electronic production on synths, sampled sounds, and sonic bass. It's a hi-fidelity sonic sound journey.

II is 10 minutes long. The cool thing about that, you know that you've meditated exactly 10 minutes when the track is up. No need for a timer, or for your brain to worry that you've sat too long or too little.

Try this for a week: meditating to II: Ephemére every morning for 10 minutes, and any other time throughout the day when you need a reboot. Utilize any breathing or deep relaxation techniques you normally employ in your seated meditations, and let your mind melt away on sound. And see how you feel.

If you are new to meditation: I recommend carving out 10 minutes in the morning before you start your day. Choose a comfortable seat with feet flat on the floor, or sit cross legged. Before starting the sound meditation, put your headphones on, close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths inhaling through the nose and exhaling gently through the mouth. Relax the muscles in your body, especially the areas where you tend to hold tension. And then press play on Episode II: Ephemére (or Episode I: Vernal) and let your mind sink deeply into the sound waves. If your mind starts to wander (i.e. planning your day, worrying about tasks, etc.), bring your awareness back to your breath and the music. When the Episode has played to completion, take a few more deep breaths, gently open your eyes, and see how you feel. Try this meditation every morning for a week.
