In the late 70s and early 80s, there seemed to be an increased obsession with sci-fi, space and intergalactic sounds in music. Many genres and artists tried to capture imaginations of space travel, adventure and sci-fi technology in their music. Disco, as a peak genre of the period was no exception. This mix is a exploration of the european style of space disco which tended to be 4/4 driven, synth-laden, hypnotic and if you are lucky paired with sleezy, badly translated vocals. Enjoy!
