The first of a selection of re-imagined versions of our songs.
This is a version of 'No One's School', the opening track from our 4th Album 'A Story of Your Broken Hearts'.

I've created this music for the modding project Skyrim: Extended Cut back last year and wanted to release it now in a more mastered condition :) I hope you enjoy my humble try to recreate some of Jeremy Soule's fantastic vibes of Skyrim's original soundtrack while putting it in a new context with my music.

Hello everyone!  Here is another orchestral piece I composed with the aim to suit children shows, education or video games for kids.  We hear a similar choice in instrumentation with a solo clarinet melody and theme.  This is definitely inspired by the arrangement of my other orchestral track Festival of Dira bringing a lively, magical emotion to the listener.  I think overall it was a fun project to work on and continue to improve my craft as a music composer.  I am also still listening to the the video game music of the Kirby series and I think I'm a big fan of the character like my young son :)

11. daughter of a serpent

Tune penned by Roy Williamson (The Corries) in 1968. In March 1990, during the last match of the Five Nations Championship between England and Scotland, it has been played for the first time in Murrayfield, just before Scotland's victory.
In 1993, the Scottish Rugby Union decided that Flower Of Scotland will be played before every match to replace… God Save The Queen! 
The song celebrates the victory of the Scottish patriots against the English invasion during the first independence war (1296-1328). Led by Robert The Bruce, the Scottish army sent home the troops of the Proud King Edward II during the battle of Bannockburn (1314). The two wars of the 14th Century will lead to almost four centuries of Scottish independence.
The famous band "The Corries" penned this wonderful tune that became then the National Scottish anthem.
Here's my tribute to this amazing duet and their great song: it's part of track 1 of my "Scots Wha Hae" album released in January, 2022.

Flower Of Scotland

Behutsam, sanft und leise erklingt ein Klavier aus Porzellan. Es erfüllt den Raum mit Wehmut, Nostalgie und Schwermut - und sehnt sich nach unbeschwerter Leichtigkeit. 

Weiche Piano-Akkorde werden getragen von einem fernen Chor. Eine in sich versunkene Stimme erhebt sich und wird verschlungen von einem epischen Chor, der sich - wie eine brechende Welle - überschlägt und zurückzieht, sodass sie sich schließlich lösen und in ihren Gedanken verlieren kann. 

"Gentle" ist eine melancholisch minimalistische, neoklassische Komposition mit Einflüssen aus Ambient und Filmmusik.
