Juno Review of FKOFD14>>

With the discovery of shady UK producer Atma, FKOF has even surprised itself at having uncovered this exceptional future breaks talent. They don't seem to know much about him, but it's the music that speaks volumes and here we're presented with four exquisitely produced, forward-facing tracks. "One Voice" starts the EP with menacing arpeggiated bass chugs and what sounds like a brooding Russell Crowe sample, the dubstep of "Black Mirror" continues the music for dark alleyways theme, whilst things get more soulful on "See It Here". Finally "Subterranean" introduces some trap attitude for a percussion-led mindblower.

I am a person that can't live without music and technology, therefore the  EDM genre's that I like the most tend to be the ones that have a futuristic vibe/feeling and an emphasize on bass. I am one of the founders of the GDL Bass Crew in Guadalajara, which is the biggest bass music oriented group that organizes monthly parties. I don't play that often as I spend most of my time producing and organizing the parties as well as producing material for my TechRock band called Metafora. Enjoy!!

Alex Méndez comenzó su carrera en el mundo de la electrónica como un adolescente más, asistiendo a raves de acid, old school y jungle. Sus sets se caracterizan por el eclecticismo a la hora de mezclar estilos (Tech-House, House, Old School, Electro, Dance, Clásicos….. ) dando un resultado realmente burbujeante, a esto hay que añadir su modo de desenvolverse en cabina totalmente arrollador que le ha llevado a ganarse constantemente el aplauso de su entregado público.
Alex Méndez began his career in electronic music as a teenager, attending acid raves, old school and jungle. His sets characterized by eclecticism when he mix different styles (Tech-House, House, Old School, Electro, Dance, Classics… ..) giving a really  result,  we must add him,the style to drop tunes at music box . He lead  constantly  applause of  dedicated clubbers.
