The Robot Scientists Mix for Absurd

Magnus Wedberg makes his OSC debut with the infectious Disco in Disguise - a driving house cut built around a catchy bassline and quirky vocals. After a bit of a hiatus from releasing music this track started as a bassline melody that worked its way around his head for many a night until he had to play it out and this was the foundation for DiD.

BIO
Dash is a young Slovenian DJ based in Berlin, drawing inspiration from Italo Disco, Indie Dance, Synthwave EBM, and everything in between.

She is the founder and curator of Pozione d’amore, an Italo Disco event series held at Slovenia’s legendary Klub K4, a world-known venue with over 36 years of tradition. 
Through this project, she has introduced underground sounds to local audiences, sharing the
stage with artists like Kendal, Andi, and Maruwa.
Dash is also the curator of the Italo Disco programme at Klub K4.

Dash is no stranger to Berlins club scene, performing at venues like ELSE, Kater Blau and Aeden.
Her international podcast presence includes appearances on HÖR, Loone & FREMD (DE), Italorator (NL) and MINITEL & Monomoods Records (FR).

This summer also performed at some of Europe’s most respected electronic music festivals such as Fusion Festival (DE), Sonus Festival (HR) and Mahagoni Festival (DE), as well as iconic clubs like KitKat (DE),continuing the journey with performances at global landmarks of electronic music culture, including the prestigious Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

The first track we ever produced, a minimalistic bassed out space ride with funky guitars to our neighbor planet Mars. This version here also contains a synth layer from Greg Punkov's "Tzaka Tzaka Celophane" because "Landing on Mars" was the basis for a remix we did of it (download here <a href="http://discodust.blogspot.com/2008/04/greg-punkov.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://discodust.blogspot.com/2008/04/greg-punkov.html</a>).
