SOULFORCE & SLONESTA – Murawri Bimbha EP 

Wer ist Murawri Bimbha? Murawri Bimbha ist der Boss! Zusammen mit seiner nicht weniger seltsamen Gang „Incredible Sa'rassao“, bestehend aus Tre'jero Pahpi, Va'arrow Ghari, Pa'sharrow Longho und Don Parrhang, meditiert er sowohl die friedliche Übernahme der Weltherrschaft als auch die Sicherstellung ewiger Glückseligkeit.

Doch ich schweife ab. Zweck dieses Textes ist schließlich die Information über die Zusammenarbeit von dem in Barcelona heimisch gewordenen Gesamtkunstwerk SoulForce und dem Dancehall-Wortakrobaten Slonesta aus Südbaden. 

Letztgenannter hat mit „Murawri Bimbha“ nicht nur ein neues Pseudonym erfunden, das wieder die Hälfte der Leute falsch aussprechen werden, nein, dahinter verbirgt sich auch eine wunderbare EP.

Das Titelstück fließt angenehm über eine Moombahton-Version des weltbekannten „Playground“-Riddims, bekannt durch Beenie Mans „Who Am I“. Slonesta macht hier unmissverständlich klar wer er ist: Er ist Murawri Bimbha und Murawri Bimbha ist Slonesta und „die Fleischfachverkäuferin will keinen Hanswurst“. Deutschsprachige Dancehall-Slackness auf Moombahton-Beats! Wow! Das ist so weit draußen, ich würde es sogar hypen wenn es schlecht gemacht wäre. Ist es aber nicht. 

Hyper geht es weiter, denn SoulForce-Mastermind Fizzle hat einige Hits der Globalen Bassszene aufgegriffen und in den Dancehallkosmos importiert. So baute er zum Beispiel ein brutales Bashment-Geschoss aus Baauers Trap-Hit „Dum Dum“, auf dem Slonesta überraschenderweise nicht Partylyrics droppt, sondern über große Gefühle philosophiert. 

Weiterhin wurde auch Buraka Som Sistemas „Zouk Flute“ weiterverarbeitet, sowie der Beat von dem SoulForce-Remix zu Marsimotos „Wellness“  neu aufgelegt.  In „Agenten“ gibt Slonesta einen kleinen Einblick in sein Privatleben, denn neben seinem aufregenden Dasein als Musiker hat er noch einen normalen 9 to 5 Job als Geheimagent. (nicht beim dt. Verfassungsschutz). Hier schlägt er sich tagtäglich mit unmöglichen Missionen herum und schildert: „Alltagsstress/ wir jagen böse Jungs zum Ausgleich / im Aussendienst sind die Nächte und Frauen heiß.“ 

Down to earth geht es auf dem von So Shifty geschraubten „Darkaz“ zu. Gemeinsam mit dem britischen Dancehallstar Gappy Ranks referiert er über dunkle Gestalten in noch dunkleren Straßenecken. Zu seinem Werk sagte der Künstler, der hier wortgewandt unterschiedliche Perspektiven beleuchtet: „Murawri Bimbha (mit H bitte) heißt, dass man sein kann wer man will“ und „der Grundauftrag von Murawri Bimbha besteht darin der Welt so penetrant wie möglich zu vermitteln, dass ER der Boss ist!“ Beide Missionen sind geglückt, die friedliche Übernahme steht kurz bevor.
